It's very good. Honestly if XTB didn't have so many engineering and QC issues, I think they'd be right up there with FT because their sculpts are nearly always gorgeous. But as far as I can tell, this is one of XTBs better releases in terms of QC. I don't think you can go wrong with either one of these.

I had the old XTB Scourge and I was going to skip the FT. I broke down and bought the FT. I don't have the cartoon version of Andras, but the old light bluish/teal version, it looks like the difference of HD and a low-definition tv. I don't know how else to explain the FT look but it looks a lot better tbh. Now I am looking at the XTB toon for my sweeps but I am glad that I got to experience Inquisitor. I do not regret the purchase. He is one of the best looking figures I have in my collection, which is a huge collection.

I don’t think XTB loses for accessories😅 they split all different accessories into the team of 4. So what we see in this vid is only 25% of the whole accessories. Let’s think, if you get all the 4 of them, how many different accessories there will be? And how about 4 FT versions? We just get the same accessories x 4

@@pandamant666 But that's just for the XTB Sweeps box, right? Swarm I think it was called? I mean for sure that one was cool and gets you more different stuff. I loved the Starscream's ghost accessories. But if you just go for Scourge alone, there's not as many accessories as I'm used to for XTB. Mostly because they're usually absolutely LOADED with them. Which is one of the reasons I love XTB releases. If only their QC and build quality were more consistent, then they would probably be my favorite 3P. I love their sculptwork. Their Springer and Motormaster for example were my favorite versions of both of those characters. But both just aren't built to last and being transformed somewhat regularly. It's such a shame because I love the look of their products, the attention to detail, and the accessories they come with.

@@pandamant666wow I started rambling there haha sorry about that. I did buy four of the Fanstoys by the way, and yeah in terms of accessories the XTB Sweeps pack would have been way better because you get a lot more different things (and quite a bit less expensive too I believe). I mean I'll have all four Powermasters sitting in their boxes, and three of them never seeing the light of day at all haha. But this was one case where I was really keen on getting the FT version because it matches so well with FT's Cyclonus and Galvatron, and those are two of my favorite figures of all time. I really do think both versions look great though!

I mean, it should look better - it's about ten years newer and proportionately a fair bit pricier. It would be embarrassing to FT if it didn't, it's hardly a fair fight. I think Andras holds up pretty well and isn't worth the £170 sidegrade when times are harder than they were back then, and there are so many other promising figures out this year - but aside from that, there are oversights from FT that would hold him back from being among their better figures. A solid 7/10, sure, but he's not a knockout - and he could have been.

@@sandstormer8386 I thought Andras was released in 2020. Maybe I'm thinking about the T (toon) version. For me the xtb will be the sweep in alt mode, but you are right it still holds up.

Yes @@thetitan914- that was the metallic version, and they did make a couple of small improvements, but it has enough charm to carry it through and there are design aspects I prefer, like the more cohesive wings, which don't have the huge hinges. You can't deny the paint on the FT version looks beautiful but all in all, I think they could have done better.

I actually wanted to change the transformation point to FT after transforming XTB, I hated the experience but it is certainly less time. That would have made the comparison 10 to 2, even more of a blowout
