This is an edited clip from the originally uploaded video entitled, "Alan Menken / A Whole New World & Compass of Your Heart." I selfishly only wanted to hear the Compass of Your Heart section and felt others out there might feel the same way.

I cried watching this 🤣🤣🤣 I live in Tokyo and visit Disney Sea often. The song in Sinbad is so beautiful and iconic that I'm not surprised to see that it was written by Menken.

i've never been on this ride (and probably will never have the chance to go) but this song is so beautiful!! and hearing alan menken sing it in english just made me cry. it's 9:30 am and I am just a blubberin' mess. Thank you so much for making this easily findable and available!!!

WHERE THE HECK IS THIS IP! Hurry up Disney! lol All these remakes and yall are sitting on a friggen gold mind! HURRY UP AND MAKE A MOVIE out of THIS RIDE! song had me in tears even though poor alan is getting up there in years and his voice is gettin a lil....ya know what it doesnt matter the spirit and message of that song is beautiful and brilliant and ALOT more people need to hear it especially rt now! Life is hard and the message of truth, love & compassion, Stayin strong and moving along through the world with conviction will get you thru is a wonderful message everyone should hear and SEE! why i gotsta go to Tokyo to hear it !? lol HUGS!

Sadly, the original IP days of WDI and the studio are further and further behind us in the rear-view mirror. I agree with you though. The most memorable attractions for me were all the original creations, Journey Into Imagination, WoM, Horizons, Mystic Manor, and of course this version of Sinbad.

この曲(アトラクション)が、キッカケでアランメンケンとディズニーのファンになりました。 来年の来日公演のチケットとれました🎶 リトルマーメイドと美女と野獣のフィルムコンサートで来日した時も、勿論行きました。 D23は枠が少なすぎて、とれなかったけど…。
