This was the most thorough and helpful of all the videos that I watched here on KZfaq. He went into WHY not simply the quick and dirty. This is lasting knowledge. Also the link to the practice problems were money!

Great video. another way to remember it is, "Dropping acid ". if pH value acidic/alklatic then match it the value that is also acidic/alk on the resp/metabolic side. if the value is within normal ranges it's compensated.
