Cause how many frogs died during this. It is just jumping. These frogs are mostly pampered like how rodeo bulls are pampered which means that they are giving luxury when they only work for 8 seconds a weekend or 4 days every year. These frogs live better frogs then most humans.

You need the healthiest frog to win, so they are probably fed really well. The most important thing to a frog is food, so at least there's that. Plus it keeps these people busy, thats def a good thing

I'm from Calaveras County. I can assure you people take it very seriously, and they treat the frogs with respect. They don't "train," it's a frog, not a dog.

Theyre fine theyre just jumping...

1. It's not disgusting at all, in fact people love it (obviously!). 2. The frogs are treated with respect and are taken care of. No self respecting frog jumper is going to bring an unhealthy frog. Winning requires taking ACTUAL care of them. 3. If being bored is a problem, than ANY sportsball is also a problem because it deals with "beings that feel." 4. They DO care about the frogs. Why else would they be there? Are you trying to suggest the frogs are mistreated? Got any proof of that? People keep them as literal pets (several in the video had pet frogs). 5. Frogs will jump away from anything that scares them, be it a bird, fox, whatever. That's literally what they do. They are "scared" for approx 1 minute, then get to chill in a cool, moist box with their frog friends until the day is over.

Well these frogs are being scared into jumping and is easy for the human to say it's all fun and games but they are scaring the frog and that's wrong
