@@annybull6956 Syrax wasn't even with Rhaenyra when she needed her the most , if their bond was strong , Syrax would have felt that Rhaenyra is desperate for help and would have flew there ( just like Sunfyre flew to Dragonstone for Aegon II and he was half blind and half crippled ) And I think Vhagar felt the same way about Laena she felt about Aemond

i wish they could do more epic scenes with the dragons, there was a game in 2002 where there there dragon stunts, like they jumped of a cliff and the dragon catches them, or they crash on the ground and fight with soldiers together, but i guess that targariens dont have a bound with there dragons so that they probably wouldnt catch them if they would fall XD they are only there mounts and slaves and nothing more and that is sad, and they onle have like 15 minute screentime last season... they have millions of doller, come on give us more dragon szenes

I saw a lot of people saying that they didn’t like the dismount. I loved it. It really showed that Rhaenyra was an experienced rider, and she and Syrax had done this so often before that even in a stressful situation, that quick sliding dismount was barely requiring of a thought to either of them.

I think she was more against going through the process of child birth, if she truly didn't want children she wouldn't have had so many children so close together.

She wanted kids, especially a girl alot. The thing is, she saw her mother get bisected alive to birth a male heir. Rhaenyra didn't oppose being a mother, she opposed being a Targeryn womb and nothing but that, that does nothing but be bred and die. Her father killing her mother just for his interpretation of a prophecy of a male heir.. Daemon is also effected by this and doesn't have Laena bisected to birth her nonviable baby too but he still has kids. After her mother was butchered for a baby that did not live a day. In the books Laena dies abit differently but it's still not by bisection/a butchered C-section. She climbs on Vhagar for one last ride and bleeds out as she doesn't want to die as a birthing womb, she wanted to die as a dragon rider 💔 remember when she killed the boar? In the books it's terrible for her as she thinks they scream like innocent children and she's young at that age. Syrax was always motherly too. You're right though it's beautiful how she loves her kids

I love the bond she has with all her children she tried her hardest. When she thought it was like she didn’t even wait till syrax landed to get of. She stood up almost immediately and scaled down syrax’s wing, instead of waiting to get off when it was safe

Poor child. I also visibly cringed at the sound of Arrax and Luke's death. Both kids death weren't as visually gory as in the books but the subtle sounds emphasise it for sure. the sound design for HOTD in general is very good

Everyone is constantly asking the question - "who are you for?" Yes, there are absolutely no "clean" characters here, but let's figure it out. Viserys chose his daughter as his successor because he considered her the best heir to the throne, because he had no other children left, and he did not want to give the reins to his brother, realizing that Damon should not be allowed on the throne. After the death of Aima (or Emma, I'm sorry, I don't remember the name exactly) he grieved greatly and did not think about taking a new wife. Of course, the Vellarions immediately offered him an alliance by marrying their youngest daughter, but Otto literally put his girl under the king and all this for the sake of power. Plus green? I don't think so. Aegon did not want to be king, but Alicent, who had been hummed by Otto before, sang to her son that it was great to have power. What do we actually get? Aegon is a puppet in the hands of his mother and grandfather. They are doing everything to hold their positions. It's not even worth talking about Eamond - in the books he deliberately flew after Luke to kill himand not, supposedly, to scare, as we were shown in the series. Are you saying that a woman shouldn't rule? But, in fact, behind Aegon's back, Alicent rules, who, surprise, is a woman. On the one hand, the legitimate heir (no matter how much they would like to admit it), on the other hand, the usurper of power, who is a doll in the wrong hands.

I'm team black all day every day but I sympathised with Alicent as a child, she was an innocent pawn.. I don't blame her for not being able to raise kids as a kid she was forced but you're right, the difference between Rhaenyra and Alicents motherhoods is Duty and Love. Alicents kids were a duty, Rhaenyra's were all born from true love with men she adored. (rip Harwin 😢) Just as an extra I just remembered that in GOT they say Duty is the death of love or something

Что ж, Эймонд буквально украл дракона Веларионов, так что не удивительно, что между ним и Вхагар не было нужной связи, чтобы она его слушала. К сожалению, между Люцерисом и Арраксом связь тоже была некрепкой, иначе маленький дракон ни за что не стал бы атаковать такого титана, как Вхагар. Но у Арракса слабая связь с наездником, скорее всего, из-за их юного возраста. А вот Вхагар так и не подчинилась Эймонду, даже когда он повзрослел.

Связь между драконом и всадником очень сложная. Драконы мало того, что имеют свою волю, они могут интерпретировать по-своему любой приказ и любую эмоцию того, с кем связаны. Вхагар признает Эймонда, как наездника, но она достаточно стара и сильна, чтобы поддаваться сомнениям и страхам своего молодого наездника. Арракс также не понимал сомнений Люцериса - молодой, разгоряченный зверь жаждал драки и не слышал, о чем там лепечет ребенок на спине. К тому же, именно Люцерис лишил Эймонда глаза. Драконы обид не забывают.
