Quit focusing on what you lost and start focusing on what you have left. Nobody has taken that blessing from you. You are blessed in the city and blessed in the country. You are blessed going in and blessed coming out. That means you are blessed when things are going your way and blessed when they’re not going your way. You’re blessed in the palace and blessed in the pit. You are blessed when people are good to you and blessed when they’re trying to stop you. Here’s the key: the blessing did not come from people, so it cannot be taken away by people. We are a new and growing channel here, thanks for your support. Amen

I got sick because of so much stress that I was dwelling on instead of giving it ALL to God and trusting him. Thank God I'm well now but I learned a lesson that I don't want to repeat.

The Lord tells us to learn to be content in every situation. Being grateful for everything we have, and for who we are, will help - as will ceasing to compare ourselves with others. A simple solution yet it can be challenging to make it a part of our daily life, especially when struggles come. Thankfully, God promises to meet us more than halfway. I'm so grateful to Him for that.

I really wish y'all had a prayer group where we all could post our requests and pray for each other. I have had an unreal hard time finding a place to talk to Christians. Where do we go for support in hard times? I would love to encourage people as well. Thanks for all the hard work y'all do bringing us these videos 🙂

Thank you for this. I needed something to take my mind off everything. My father is very ill and we believe it may be Covid-19. My other family members also aren't feeling well but they're all vaccinated. My dad, however, isn't. I am extremely afraid. How can a 48 year old man survive Covid-19? I trust in God and know that whatever happens will be for the best, but what if my father's passing is part of God's plan? That thought terrifies me. I don't want him to go this soon. I need him in my life. Please send your blessings and prayers to my dad. Not to me. I am giving him all my blessings and am praying for God to bless my father with the good health and strength he needs to survive Covid-19 and fight. Please God, help him, heal him, save him, cure him, protect him, bless him, and have mercy on him. God bless my father !! 🕊 👼🏻 ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ✝️

Thank you each for sharing this message of complaining. I grateful for "All" my Blessings God has already given me, that He is giving me right now, and that He will forever give me. I would be telling an untruth if I said I never complain even to the mildest of a complaint and hearing that you each and many others have or do complain makes me feel normal. I have been and will continue to pray to our Wonderful God to help me every second of every day of my entire life here on earth that I will continue to grow more and more in Him, with Him, thru Him, because of Him and for Him. I thank our God for never leaving me nor forsaking me. I thank God for everything. I thank Joyce for her teachings on complaining through this Talk It Out Podcast. God Bless you each and all.

Living alone, I have the idea to try new recipes sent me for Thanksgiving this year. Looking forward to the challenge of having a happier day. Another idea is cooking to-go dinners then drive around giving dinners to strangers on the highways and byways. I've done this before and it's a wonderful fulfilling thing to do.

When Ginger made the statement about “I’m always gonna be like this” then God saying “ I have soo much more for you and don’t give up on me “ resonates with me closely. I say it a lot out of pure frustrations with choices but I just have to ask for his help because clearly I can’t do alone.

When I tell you, I could complain TODAY! Im not doing it. I have no more room for complaining about car repair/trouble. I chose to not let that too faced snagged tooth devil stop me. My car did not start this morning due to frigid outdoor temperatures in the Midwest (USA). My friend had a major follow up doc appt. that I was responsible for getting them to. And that raggedy thing (the devil) was trying to prevent us (my buddy and I) from getting the help we needed. I prayed and he sent an angel to jumpstart my car so that I could get my friend (my buddy) to their doc appt. Now, we were a whole hour late, and he (my buddy) started to give up and throw in the towel. God said to me, 'still go to the doc and they will still see your buddy'. So we drove to the doc office. And God stepped in and allowed the office to still see my buddy at the doc office. And they (the office) are usually sticklers for time and would have normally not allowed my buddy to be seen by the doc, since we were a whole hour late by the time we had arrived at the doc office. Then my car did not want to start up (a 2nd time) as we were trying to leave the doc office. I had to get get another jump from a nice gent at the doc office to get us from the doc office and back to my home. Throughout the entire process, from the first jump to get my car going, to the 2nd car jump to get my car going again, I did not Complain the whole time..and God showed out for me and my buddy Today. I am safe and sound, and so is my buddy. AMEN!! Now, on 1-6-2022, its starting to snow outside. After we made it home, and guess where my car is? Answer is, my car is right outside my home. I did not have to call a tow truck, or even call for any help from roadside assistance, God is my roadside assistance in my time of trouble. Because he sent those angels (the ones who jumped my car) to help me get through that today. My buddy is not so much a believer in Christ, but after a day like this, they are getting to know my God and that showed them through faith and press through, that God will make a way. Hallelujah!!!! Glory be to God!. Signs and wonders. We got to show others and love others, because that is what God's love does for us!!!! Amen!!

I was complaining so much on this one situation in my life and to everybody around, I was so unhappy, trying to live for Jesus but could not go on after one situation.... and all because I was very much afraid to show my weknesses and to ask for help... but mostly I lacked faith in God and patience. So this talk helped me a lot to stop being so angry at myself and others... Thank you for validating that it can be hard sometimes, I felt like God after all this years wanted to say to me that He understands me. But I had to get to the point to ask Him to really talk to me and help me through these problems I had... I pray Jesus blesses you all cause He now talked to me through you!

She was a mentor and an excellent example of God's love. I will miss her. She was also an excellent teacher..writer...director...and a very trust worthy friend. I know she's in heaven now. I know she is not suffering anymore. I know that although it feels like I have had a ton of bricks dropped on my chest...she is rejoicing with her family in heaven! My children are all adults now, but I do remember the times they would do anything my husband said also, just as you mentioned Erin. Also I remember feeling at one point raising them experiencing a few of my children (We have 4 children) maybe liking my husband more than me when they were very young. I was going to a Christian counselor at the time, my Mom passing away when I was 5 and Dad passing when I was 12, I felt I lost role models and mentors at a young age and wanted to learn all I could about being a good parent - family meant so much to me. Anyway, I told this Christian counselor I feel as if my child likes my husband more than me, and I'll never forget what he said. He said it is very normal and healthy for children to at one point of their life to like one parent more than the other, they are trying to be like them. So to me, that is healthy. I have also felt when they were growing up that at times they liked me for a period of time better than my husband, so you might see that change too. I wrote down 87 points of child raising that had helped me be the best parent I could be. I loved that time in my life when I was learning all I could learn about parenting, I asked specific questions and learning all I did made me feel confident to be a good parent. I so much appreciate all of you and you all sharing scripture and your struggles and how you speak of living as God wants us to live. I love the word of God and so very thankful for all of you.

I don’t know why it seems this way but, we complain about what we don’t have and then when we get it we have complaints about having those things🤔🤷🏻‍♀️ We complain about not having a partner, then we complain when we have a partner, etc. We complain about not having kids but then when we have a kid we complain about them, etc. It’s as if we find something to complain about regardless of what side of the coin we’re on ….it’s a daily struggle to remember to replace your complaint with the blessing💛

Thank you for this! You all are a pleasure and an inspiration. My word for the year is intentional. No matter what so want to see as a change in my life, I want to be intentional on the steps to change. My verse is 1 Corinthians 13:1 “If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels but not have love l, then I have become a noisy gong - an annoying distraction. I also love the verse - Titus 3:2 Remember be submissive to all authority, obey, be ready for every good work, to slander no one, avoid fighting, be kind and show gentleness to all people. Mark 2:22 is good for the year 2022, about how we need to be a new wine skin to stretch with the new wine(paraphrase). Happy new year ladies!

Seeing as complaining is expressing dissatisfaction about something, I think we need to do this or what is happening will continue to happen. Then do something about it to bring about change. However we don't need to complain about it to everybody we talk to, while not taking any action. That isn't right.

Please pray for me my husband and I are so far gone and I think I have lost him…it’s so hard and I’m trying to concentrate on the good things but he is entertaining someone else…how do I get through when it looks to be too late

We will be praying for you and your husband! We know it can be difficult to hold onto hope when things are hard in our lives. But that can be when being a prisoner to hope is the important thing. Check out bit.ly/2ktDgJ4 . We also encourage you to check out this online study from Joyce at joycemeyer.org/marriage. We hope these resources are a blessing to you! -Team JMM

There is something i really dont understand and would love any body to respond to this, i am a Christian as is my son, we are all either of us have in life, we both have learning disabilities so cant work. We do everything we are meant to do as Christians yet really bad things keep happening to us, the last one was yesterday when our car completely died so now we are stuck at home, i cant walk very much due to physical health issues. I am trying to stay positive but its hard to feel so alone in the world, we were at least be able to have little drives, get our groceries but worst thing is that now we cant go to Church or Bible Study, or Life group. Why is the devil still able to hurt me so much? Ive had a very tough life it doesn't seem fair to me. How do i stay thankful?

Sorry, can someone explain what “ murmuring” means? Here in the U.K., it means “speaking softly”.
