Hey, you're talking about using complementary colours for shadow's right? It works the same way for a green apple. Add a little red to the green paint to use for your shadows.

Oh good grief. Calling this "color theory", as if it's a science, is silly. Orange and blue are _jarringly bad_ aesthetically when paired.
