The late Jerry Turner, Richard Sher, Klaus Wagner on the WJZ-TV set with a classic holiday "blooper". Bob Turk is seen briefly from behind. The year is believed to be 1980. (Be sure to watch all the way past the commercial break.)

The year this was filmed on air at WJZ-13 was 1979 & not 1980. I remember the whole thing & still laugh my head off over this.

After seeing this so many times over the years, I just realized only now that he lit the wrong candle.

I first saw this on *Most Embarassing Moments* on ABC in May 1984; I laughed like I never did in my life!

Jerry Turner was completely losing it. He tried to maintain his composure, but it wasn't working and Richard Sher didn't help either. LOL!!! RIP Jerry. *sigh*

It would've been cool to see the old baltimore tv ads during the commercial break.

That kid probably got a stern talking to after that segment (or worse).

This family appeared on the 1984 *Life's Most Embarrassing Moments* show, and the mom said to William Shatner, "When we saw this on the news later that night, we weren't sure if the younger one was going to live to see his next birthday." Maybe the boys, now men(and likely with their OWN families), watch this tape every Hannukah/Christmas, and laugh their arses silly as they share this piece of family history with their kids.

SuperPat88 Either that, or Herschel (the imp) is sick to death of being reminded about something silly he did when he was a kid.

Richard Sher had the chance to join Oprah on her show but declined . Bet he kicked himself in the ass . He could had been as rich and famous as her .
