what a good ass review on these amps. I spent so many dam hours trying to find a god reviews and this one had to come up as the best review. Sometimes i wish the people that are doing reviews for things play something that will make the amp chug more than it speaks because we sure do want to know how good the low end is and how much strength it has when it comes to being able to put pressure onto the audience heart and face. just saying..

I've never really given much credit to Bugera in the past, but I have to admit all of the amps sound great. The TRIREC was also my favorite. But that's not surprising since I've always been a Mesa guy, and it definitely resembles their take on the Rectifier.

@DaveElectric Its a 360p compressed youtube video, its natural for amps to sound the same, especially if they are the same brand with same settings. I guarantee you in person a 333xl and 6262 will differ greatly.

@ExtremeGuitarBMX just because you build an amp with tubes doesn't mean you stole the design of the first tube amp. My point is that bugera specifically designs amps to be exact copies of specific amps. They only extra thing that they are bringing to the table now is the Infinium technology, which is pretty darn similar to TubeSync which Orange is licensing for some new products.

My favs: 1. 333xl- sick gain and tons of features 2. Trirec- tons of features, and MIDI 3. 6262- great dist tones, but little features The 1990 was good, but didn't have what the top 3 did. Love to hear the magician.

I just want 2 of the Tri Recs & 2 of the 333XL Infiniums and go back and forth as i please between them. Damn fine amps for basically lunch money and a couple beers W/ a lap dance thrown in for good measure. I already own the 1960 which is a tremendous amp in it's own right.

@pietdepsi you're correct the frequencies and dynamics are not the same as if you miced them with the shure sm57. camera mics do not do justice to any amp.

I picked up a 6260 Combo from Musician's Friend back in 2015. It was a return priced at $250 so I scooped it up. I really didn't intend on gigging with it because it's severely lacking in low end. I dime the bass control and the low virtually non-existent. Is that maybe why it was returned or are all 6260's weak in the low end? Anyone???
@tanshaomala
@tanshaomala 7 жыл бұрын
I had a 6260 combo. It really is a fairly midrange heavy amp. I had no problem with it because I like that midrange character. If you as a player really gravitate towards that heavy bottom end then the 6260 isn't the right amp for you. Different amps just have different voicings.

Will the Magician ever be available as a head? or is it just going to be a combo?
@SteelSkin667
@SteelSkin667 12 жыл бұрын
Now the real question is: When will the Trirec be available? It's the third winter NAMM we see it, but it still isn't available anywhere... The Infinium series of the 626Xs and 333s are available, but still no Trirec, or Magician for that matter.

Modern mode on the trirec makes it sound rawer bigger more mids 'cause it takes out the pressence circuit. If you could do that to the other amps effectively you'd get that "type of sound". Where is the magician sound?

My new 6262 Infinium blew after the first week. All of the power tubes went nuclear at the same time and then the thing just died horribly with a nasty sound. Hopefully, the replacement will be a keeper. The amp does sound great though.

@grimm26 What ExtremeGuitarBMX says is totally true, I'm sick of hearing how people bash Bugera for copying the design of other brands. I must admit they do it in a very obvious way, but come on guys! How do you think Randall Smith started his Boogie business? He just made some mods to some Fender amps, and from there on he started to develop some ideas of his own, but still many of things you see when you open up a Boogie are "stolen" from previous designs!

@grimm26 However, I must agree with you that I'm also fed up with the waiting... I'm also sick of hearing how these guys from Bugera keep making promises... The announced the Magician at NAMM 2010, a whole year went by and at NAMM 2011 they said it would hit the streets around March together with the other Infinium models... Only by late November did the first batch of Infinium amps ship out of the factory... Still waiting for the Magician to be released.

QUALITY!!! Y U NO 720??? bugera is behringer, german amps, handbuilt in a single, owned by behringer factory in china, active since early 80s and if youre nice and ask me ill send you a link of the factory tour with uli behringer and some people from guitar magazines, audio magazines and a photographer of the german musiker-board.de wich is also the 3rd largest musicians board world wide. so. this isnt nuts anymore. theyre building seriously competitive and mean shit! but design = still lame ^^

bugera dont have anything of its own kind of amps they took other brands basically and gave them the name of bugera , the only new here is the INFINIUM tech , until now they didnt make examination of the output tube mixing , i hope they could make a demo on each amp with mixed tubes and see how each of these amps would sound , i would suggest to take 1960 and 1990 and 6260 for such matter

To all the haters... Every amp maker these days copied someone and put there own twist on it, so I personally dont give a sh^t who made it as long as I like it. I have had a 6262 since 2008. Not a single problem. Also a Bugera V55HD for a couple of months now..Nice clean, crap gain channel.. but hey.. 350 bucks.
