The playable characters are not the story. The story is everything but the characters. The Main characters are Samantha, Weaver, Director, Ravenov. The enemies are The Foresaken, and Omega and The Nazis.

@@idestructiiion1337 yeah I know what you're saying and you are right, it might be some god complex but I just don't care what happens to those 4 characters, I don't feel any kind of attachment to them yet, maybe that will change but I have a feeling it won't. In vanguard (if we are going to the 1945ish era) we won't see these characters for a while, the same way I didnt care for the ZISL characters. I don't really know, all I do is that zombies feels a bit empty with out the og 4, was playing since WaW and now they're gone I'm kind of getting bored of the story. Also, playing 4 characters you miss out on the story between them, the comedy, the tragedy, it feels like it's taking itself a bit to serious, even with primis you still had some comedy and yeah a lot of tragedy. I think the amount of people playing blackops 3 still abd people playing cold war says it all really :/

@@philipcrosby3462 How can you not care about Samantha bruh. She is the most OG character. Even Weaver. And the director could be Eddie. I mean WaW had random playable characters as well in the beginning.

@@idestructiiion1337 Jesus dude calm down, I was just giving my thoughts on it sorry I dont think the way you do 😂 and no, Samantha was created in Der riese and the ultimus crew were created in shino numa. And yeah the first 2 maps were but one of the most played maps in WaW was der riese so untill Bo1 that mostly what people were playing, I know I'm living in the past but primis and ultimus got a shitty ending and shitty maps in bo4. I somewhat care for maxid but not really, zombies used have some light in it but now it's just sooooo serious that what I used to love about the game is just gone, cold war imo could have been brilliant but the fact we have operators that couldnt give damn about just ruins it, in my opinion. Great gameplay though

@@idestructiiion1337 "the playable characters are not the story" yes....BUT THEY GIVE THE STORY A SOUL We play a fps, the playable character and especially the voicelines are a gateway to the person behind the controller.....in CW there is 0 interaction between the playable characters, outcome: makes them all feel irrelevant aka train go boom Even in Blackout the characters had unique voicelines and interactions with eachother 5 minutes of ee cutscene doesnt make anyone interesting or likeable, CW did a lot of good things when it comes to gameplay and design but telling a story through ~600 pieces of intel is lame asf

That'd be cool, it's technically possible but unlikely, unless they were to send specific characters back in time (grey, carver strauss and maxis maybe) as they'd have to port all the cold war operators over otherwise

I'm dumbfounded that they haven't tied him in this late in the game. Alot of folks on this channel figured Richtofen was the mysterious traveler but turns out it was just Ravenov. The last hail mary theory i heard was he might be the director but I'm like 2 months behind on this narrative.

@@Harigan they wrote it as if they needed to die. Treyarch could have wrote it differently, but they were forced to rush the ending so they can move onto chaos story
