Yes! I was lucky enough to buy the full set of GANTZ for like 500 like 2 years ago. Had it shipped from the UK. Now it’s impossible to find the full set.

True! My advice would be, follow or subscribe to some sites of their social media. You could always pick an item for in stock notification. But a week ago I opened my ig and Rightstufanime posted One Piece box set 1 would be restocked soon, so I did order it and a day after it was out of stock😅

Yeah I feel you! I have noticed a lot of series with volumes popping up as OOP even though the series is still releasing. And I agree! There's so much demand for a lot of the series that are OOP. Thank you for mentioning Blood Blockade Battlefront; I will get that added to the list and ah man, yeah I reviewed the Monster Editions on the channel and I love those editions and his art as well. I really hope they change their mind and decide to reprint the harder to get volumes, so everyone who wants them can pick them up. The demand is definitely there for them!

Tsutomu Nihei is one of my favorite mangaka, so I will for sure have videos about his work coming to the channel! I'm currently working on getting some reviews up of the Master Editions of Blame! as well as the complete deluxe edition hardcover of Abara. I own all of his manga except for NOiSE right now (out of print but I'll get it once I find it at a good price!). Long game though is a video where I go over all of his manga and talk about my favorites and what not, so that'll be coming in the future too! And thank you so much for the kind words! They do turn to Amazon it seems sometimes to price their manga instead of recently sold prices on places like Ebay, which are usually more accurate. I've noticed some of my local Half Prices doing that, but have found a few that also don't know what they have, but I have definitely noticed a lot of heavily worn library copies as well as a lot with writing on the pages as well. Definitely something you have to keep an eye out for, so thank you for commenting that and letting everyone know!

I don't agree that books with dog earing and pen marks should be thrown away. A lot of people (such as myself) really don't mind those things. As long as a book is readable and not a biohazard (i.e. doesn't have mold or bloodstains or something), I'm happy to buy it if it's a good price.

When I first started collecting manga, I picked up the 3-in-1's of Naruto (and still have them). They have really thin paper, but were easy to read despite their thickness. I picked up the box sets for Shippuden later on and ended up enjoying those more. I really love the individual volumes and the box sets are the cheapest way to go usually when they are in stock online. If you don't want to wait, the 3-in-1's are definitely the easiest to pick-up right now but wanted to let you know that their quality isn't as great as the individuals. Have seen a lot of individual volumes of Naruto at my local Half Price Books too if you have one around you. Know they vary in terms of stock, but definitely worth checking out too if there are some volumes you can't pick up online! Hope that helps and thanks again!

All awesome series! Attack on Titan is definitely a great one to get into next. One of my favorites and love the Colossal Editions. @LightingWeeb 93 had some awesome recommendations. Would also recommend looking into Naoki Urasawa's works, especially 20th Century Boys. I just got into Jojo's but I'm loving it so far and it's one that I really think you'd enjoy as well. I also highly recommend Vagabond, Fist of the North Star, One Punch Man, Akira, and Chainsaw Man! There's so many different series, but sounds like you have an amazing start and a lot to already get into!

I would recommend berserk and hellsing deluxes Hellsing is only 3 parts.

It really does suck when series go out of print. Hoping more and more collector's editions or deluxe editions of out of print series release because some of them are super expensive, like Battle Royale or Trigun, to collect right now. I definitely don't think Berserk will be going out of print anytime soon. Also I hope vol 1 arrives sooner than expected!

Wow yeah, I remember seeing the Collector's Editions of Fruits Basket in Half Price Books like a month ago for $10 a piece and then I went in the other day and they were there for like $80 to $100 in the locked up case. They really shot up in price! Awesome that you managed to get all of Fruits Basket! I feel you on buckling down and picking up the series you love. There's always a worry I have that something is going to be out of print when I wake up one day! I really hope you are able to find the volumes of Umineko that you still need for a good price soon!

I've recently got into collecting the series and I also noticed that a few of the volumes are harder to find. I'm sorry to hear they cancelled volume 7. They have cancelled a few volumes I ordered also. Here's hoping something happens and those volumes restock and I hope you are able to find the remaining volumes you need soon!

I'm with you there on Vol 2 of the Perfect Editions as well as Punpun. Having trouble getting those as well. I was able to preorder all of Punpun on Barnes and Noble and looks like they will be coming back in stock on their site on October 1st. I am really hoping that they are just waiting for more stock and I'm leaning towards thinking they aren't out of print yet, but would place an order wherever you can for them if they say out of stock, expecting more on sites like B&N or Right Stuf. Hope we can both get these volumes soon!🤞

@@AnimeCollective I've already spoken to Viz Media on Facebook and unfortunately they might not even be restocking them at all. They said to continue placing those pre-orders because they base whether or not they produce more based on those numbers but as of now there are no active plans to reprint those particular volumes.

Hey! Vol 1 of the Deluxe Edition should just be temporarily out of stock right now. Looks like Barnes and Noble are going to start shipping out that volume again on November 12th according to their site!

Hey I don't think it's going out of print! Barnes and Noble has volume 2 listed as coming back in stock on July 15, 2022 on the product page, so it should just be temporarily out of stock. Hope you are able to pick it up soon!

In the same boat with you there in regards to Vol 7! So Vol 7 is one that Right Stuf actually cancelled my order for via email recently, which concerned me, but they haven't unlisted the page or said its no longer available, so not sure what's going on there. I have since placed an order for it on Barnes & Noble. They are saying that it's coming back in stock on September 17, 2021, so really hoping that's accurate and it actually ships. I will say that Right Stuf also cancelled vol 9 on me too, but that now says in stock so not sure what happened there either. I placed an order on B&N and I got it through there. In my experience, Barnes and Noble has been a little more reliable with these types of volumes and their accuracy with stock lately even though you have to pay a little more for each volume. I personally am not convinced that the VIZBIG Vagabond volumes are OOP just yet (there have been talk and rumors but no confirmation from Viz and some volumes are popping up in store again at places like BAM--albeit no vol 7 yet). With that said, I would still place an order wherever you can for the volume just in case because they are flickering with stock.

@@AnimeCollective i sent a mail to viz media customer service but they basically replied "thx for letting us know" but i have seen some volumes disappearing and then coming back in stock on amazon so i have no idea. i really hope inoue brings back the manga so maybe i can finally find the volumes im missing

I also wanted to update you guys; Barnes and Noble has shipped Volume 7 of Vagabond that I ordered earlier than expected, so that seems to be a good sign! And I hope so too! Seems he's focusing on Real right now, which I absolutely love too, but looking forward to more Vagabond!

Vol 3 is listed as no longer available and 2 's page has been unlisted from sites entirely so those two do appear to be out of print right now, but if I've learned anything, it's that it's never impossible with stuff surprisingly restocking like the I Am A Hero omnibuses. I'm in the same boat with you there! Still in need of 3 and 2 as well and man, they really are pricey and hard to find as you said. Publishers do seem to listen on occasion so hopefully we can get those volumes reprinted!

I wouldn't say that Pluto being out of print is a sure thing (really hard to know until something actually pops up as no longer available), but it is one that really worries me. Barnes and Noble has even gone as far to unlist pages for volumes 3 and 5, which is a warning sign for me. I would still try placing an order for them on sites that still have the product pages up, like Right Stuf, and see if they are able to get more stock. That's one that I'm personally buying up all of the volumes that I can because it is one that seems to be at risk.

They appear to be just temporarily out of stock! Barnes and Noble has most of the volumes that are out of stock coming back in stock on April 15th. Another series hit by the production delays/increase in demand. Hope you are able to pick up any volumes you may need soon!
