I enjoyed the video. I think I want this particular modification at some point but I might wait until all the bugs are fixed. Hey That 5.0 Guy, do you know how to connect that single wire labeled SUB on RCA cables? I don’t get it why there’s only 1 wire for the sub but it has front and rear RCA speaker plug. I wanna connect my subwoofer amp but I can’t figure out with that jut single wire, not an RCA.

I have a chinese unit in a different car.. The problem i noticed is the memory included in these units is often a bottleneck in performance. They work great in the beginning and then just become slow. Mine had 2gb of memory.

Did you get all the drive modes as i see it came with all the toggle switches?

Damn that’s a long start up lol I’m happy I have the stock unit (premium) in my GT, it takes about 3-5 seconds to start up and another 2-3 seconds to start playing my music.

I had the Tesla Style radio in my 2017 GT for two weeks and all of my HVAC controls stopped working and then the unit would just freeze. Phoenix Android gave me a full refund and I purchased the 11 inch Siecane horizontal Android radio that keeps factory HVAC controls. It's ten times better than the Tesla unit and takes only 10 seconds to boot.
