Utah LB Devin Lloyd was arguably the most dominant defensive player in college football that people didn’t talk about enough. Oregon DE Kayvon Thibodeaux entered the year as the top overall prospect. Michigan DE Aidan Hutchinson was a Heisman finalist & Alabama LB Will Anderson could’ve been a finalist as well. Lloyd was just as deserving of this attention. That’s how good he was this past season.

One of the best picks in the entire draft so far insane he dropped to 27 teams will regret this I see a mix between Darious Leonard/and Wagner now he’s paired with the leading tackler at lb and the bucs lb coach as defensive coordinator they might actually have a solid defense this yr

@@JustBombsProductions definitely. but i wouldn’t be surprised if we go cb round 1 bc other than jalen mills, malcolm butler, and jonathan jones, our cbs are looking shaky. but i want either dean or lloyd sooo baddd. and take them now in the first round bc you won’t get any other versatile linebackers after the first round or potentially second round.

@@JustBombsProductions yeah i know same. we could’ve put in a little more effort to find a way to re-sign him or come up with some flexibility in cap space. but at the same time we wanted a boat load of money he wants close to 100 mil and that’s just wayyy too much. yeah he’s a top 5 cb but we don’t have that kind of money

The issue with him is in the NFL ,Offenses will audible their plays to just isolate a defender they see they can play towards to. With the NFL, when seeing an RPO style of MLB, teams change to Big Set formations to use the Guard or Tackle to meet MLB of run plays and the NFL do not stick to the fancy RPO schemes thru out game as it is more balanced with traditional game of running and TE use. I see a lot of plays Lloyd is making and it is all off of RPO plays, maybe a couple of pro sets but it will be the question for Lloyd of him being able to adjust to a more less RPO league.

Honestly it feels like rebuilding the team again after Coughlin destroyed one of the greatest rosters we ever had. Remove Bortles and plug in Trevor and woulda coulda shoulda. I think we're tired of bad GMs, bad coaches, and bad 1st round draft busts like James Stewart, Luke Joekel, Dante Fowler, Reggie Williams, Derrick Harvey, Taven Bryan, Blake Bortles, Justin Blackmon, RJ Soward, Renaldo Wynn, Marqis Lee, Matt Jones, Byron Leftwich, Tyson Alualu,... busts that we have had waay too often. So until I see wins, I got nothin.

Blake was no bust his team was a bust yeah Blake had a great defense in 2017 but he carried this team 3 years before that and it was a horrible team and he made 2 wide outs look great Robinson and Allen both yet to have a season like they had with Blake

@@dezgarrett6082 #17 has more weapons than #14. Absolutely you don't follow the Bills. There's #13 (6 TDs in the regular season) who basically took over the playoff game against KC (4 TDs). There's #88 (9 TDs in the regular season). I will say that it's always good to add more weapons, which Beane did by adding Jamison Crowder. I'd say those are pretty good weapons for Josh. And the draft hasn't started yet. But do remember, defense wins championships. Just to be clear.

Both are good options at that 24th pick. If I had to pick, if one of the offensive lineman or receivers we are targeting are gone and if one of those 2 linebackers are available(depending on how the draft happens as far as who trades up or down) I think I would go with Devin Lloyd. If we go with Dean instead, I won’t be mad about it, if we get one of those 2, just imagine what Dan Quinn could do with one of these 2 players. Think about it.

Taylor had immense size and power to go with that athleticism. I don’t see Lloyd having near the same impact around the line of scrimmage. However, he can cover in the open field, so his value is potentially very large as an every down player.

Secondary is also a need but we might go for either WR, OL or MLB depending on who’s best available. TBH, do I think we won’t get Devin Lloyd at that 24th pick, probably. I think we’ll go with one of those 3 positions and maybe go CB or S in the 2nd or 3rd round depending on who will be there when we make our second round pick or third round pick. I do think it’s possible we might trade down a few spots if one of the players we want are gone before the 24th pick.
