The span in between two columns 30 feet, 250tonnes comes on each column of five stored building, pl design size of column along with steel, further the soil is B. C soil, pile foundation to be designed for pile cap and piles along with steel.

while calculating the ASC why again we need the load formula however we can simply calculate with the help of small formula of relation between Ag=Ac+Asc.

Excellent sir.. 👍.. Can u tell me pls...how to see load for a building ....and where to see ..whether in is 456 or other? I have two residential building Projects g+1 and g+2 .. For How much load, should I design their column?.. So, question is, How to calculate the amount of load coming on the building..?

wrong math calculation. A.g. result should be 168216.44

also in is-code 456 clause 39.3, it says that minimum eccentricity should not exceed 0.05D. If you choose D as 400mm, then 0.05D is equal 20.0 but your minimum eccentricity is 20.33 which is greater than 0.05D, so your analysis does not comply with clause 39.3 regret to say but do you want to clarify ?

It is the P vertical load acting on the column (Just assumption)

Transverse reinforcement (pitch) 1)16d=16*16=256mm 2)Min lateral dimension of column 400mm 3)300mm Least value taken out of these values ,that's why he took 256mm
