That's great to know that PAL is getting known to be better in the aviation industry. That was a huge improvement. I wish I could fly this new aircraft too. I love the Fiesta Scenario lighting, uniquely Filipino. tells the story of how Filipinos colorfully celebrate fiesta & summer. Those Premium Economy seats looks nice and comfy for someone like me who can't afford J-class tix. The barong-inspired wall design, sea waves-inspired floor carpeting compliments each other. Good job PAL.

I flew one their first between Bangkok and Manila. It was on familiarization service for the crew. It was especially good after the A320 going to Bangkok. I was delighted when it replaced the 777 on the LHR route. Interestingly, it lacks the feeling of space of the 777 but once in your pod it obviously an improvement.

Over the span of 15 years when our In-Laws were alive, we have flown PAL from LAX to MNL business class round trip once or twice a year. We have also enjoy their service and hospitality on the 747. The PAL have its financial/business turmoil and service have degraded at some point. I am glad now they are back on top of the game. Go PAL.

Although it's not 5 star airlines yet like Garuda Indonesia, Singapore Airlines,, I always love to fly with PAL. There's something different from the crew. Yes you can't fake perfection, but heart knows better when it comes to PAL flight attendants. And I'm Indonesian, admiring PAL.

The right aircraft for PAL to achieve it’s 5th star

Only flown PAL twice, 1977 & 2017. I can't really remember the first experienced but the second time around was awesome. The FA's gave us a 5 star service for my 84yo mother and I. Looking forward to fly PAL again in 2019. Keep those Vodka coming :-). Thank you!

Have to say that I’m impressed by the business class video system (mobile device sync capability, tv monitor removal, etc) and also with the fun fiesta lighting programming. I’m curious also about the food presentation as I loved those acrylic like trays, but a one-step meal tray for long flights? Is that the norm at Philippines Air? Also while I feel the A350 is a great plane to fly, based on this video I see the same crammed forward galley area many crew members dislike from other A350 carriers, and the lack of center overhead lockers in the forward business class section. Why is Airbus building A350s without them?

Btw Philippines airlines is one of the airlines which have the friendliest flight attendants and they are really kind that sometimes they give you tour to the cockpit
