I have been in india 4 times for last 2 years. its place of God , he is literally everywhere.I become vegetarian after reading Bhagvat Gita. And easily quite smoke and drink alcohol at all. The idol of Lord Shiva is a Lingam which has proven to have some electric abilities, also of which worship of the lingam can be noted in almost all civilizations in almost all continents.. When chanted live with more than 5 people, the air and soil itself recognizes and mends. Try to chant along with Them, and don't get me started on the mantra, with thousands of metaphors and references. This Shloka is is way more powerful than you think. Its time Sanskrit is revived in Bharat to its original glory. It should be taught in all schools and brought back as a mainstream language. We as individuals also play an important role in this apart from Government and Academicians.

My grand father used to chant the aforesaid mantras (11 times/11 avartan) while I was doing the abhishek of shree nagdwar swami.I remember that he was chanting somewhat like "indrash chame, indrash chame,yach yach" Now He is no more.He is watching from heaven❤ .Next year I will definitely memorise the full rudri path by the grace of Lord Mahakaal and our Kuldeivat Bhadranaag swami and with the help of other brahmin I will perform abhishek at next nagpanchmi ❤️ Jai mahakaal👑

I really don't know why people think it has all been stopped. There are temples in which early morning 100's of Brahmin kids & guys recite this during their upanayana every year. I've witnessed it in Puttur Mahalingeshwara temple Dakshina Kannada, Karnataka.
