I recommend She-Hulk as a blanket must buy at 3k tokens. She slots into most decks and is always a good card in every situation. Use her with Sunspot for extra value

Thanks for the super useful update! It would be great if the shop offered more than one card at a time, it seems like days before anything relevant (to me) pops up. Meanwhile, my collection track keeps giving me pixel variants (ugh).

I think this is a great video to make a series. Maybe putting this out when there are balance patch changes, or if a card comes along in the season pass that truly shakes up the order of cards for a specific type of deck.

I’ve decided not to spend any more tokens for series 3. I’m unlocking about 3 a week with about 20 cards left and I’m happy with that. I’d rather save up for series 5 since I’ll probably never open a card I want. You also get more surprise value because they’re more rare.

I was early pool3 (I only had Rhino) when I purchased She-Hulk. Never once did I regret that Devil Dinosaur Moon Girl Sunspot She Hulk then just add 8 other cards you feel like trying and you're playing 200hrs of fun in the least

I'd say if I to give someone advice on picking 5 cards. Patriot - easy access to no ability cards Mystique - Works with anything Surfer - just a solid card Brood - Works with surfer and patriot Sera - Works in control decks and Surfer. These cards would give you multiple top tier decks that you can get infinite with or just have fun and play high ranks. These decks are easy easy math and easy to know when retreat.

My only collection track pool 4 cards are the three pool 4 cards you say to get last. I even got them in order (Mariah Hill into M'Baku into Helicarrier) - RIP my phone

I think you forgot Attuma in your pool 4 list. Either that or he died because he was grouped with other cards 😜. All joking aside, amazing list and video. Your guides for pool 3 has been vital for me and I haven't regretted a single token shop purchase yet because of you. So thank you! The only pool 3 I still want is death but I'm just going to wait to collect her naturally and save up for my first pool 4, probably She- hulk. I really want darkhawk but it's gonna take forever to get 6k tokens when I'm still in pull 3.

All I've been playing the last day is zero decks. Unfortunately I've been using it as well. It's a great deck but it's hard to beat even if it's what you're running. I've had to plug in Shang chi to counter them. I really appreciate all the advice you give in your videos

I’ve only bought 2 cards from the shop, Quin Jet and Thanos. I don’t regret it at all. Thanos is very good and builds the most unique decks in the game. I climbed from 60-80 in 2 days with my Thanos deck and it’s my most enjoyable deck. Fun=consistency, consistency=climbing the ladder

Love the content! I would like to see more deck guides or meta analyses as that can be harder to understand when you don't have all the cards and want to know how other decks work also.

great video, love the idea, as im a beginner myself still (about a week in, just finished pool 2/started pool 3) and I lucked out and got Absorbing Man on my first token purchase.. fits right into my favorite deck I spammed from rank 65 to 110 with Zabu!

Sentry is allot of fun with Zabu! Makes the Viper Combo much easier to pull off. Def better than Helicarrier and MBaku IMO

so far i do not regret any of my token purchases. But by far im most satisfied with getting arnim zola. He is my favorite card. I made a big dumb jubilee magik zola deck and it isnt the best deck nor very consisitant but the high rolls on it are like nothing else. my best game yet went like this: did nothing turns 1 2 and 3. turn 4 jubilee hitting zola, which made two more jubilees hitting wave then magik respectively turn 5 odin my zola, putting an odin on the other two lanes reprocing jubilee in both hitting chavez then infinaut then turn 6 sandman to lock them down because my odin on wave stopped them from mr negative serra meraculing all over the place turn 7 white queen just cause

Cozy, your content is so amazing and I have to really give you credit for keeping me loving the game. I love how much you focus on replaceable cards and how to make various archetypes work given how everyone’s collection is different. I’m midway through pool 3 and given that I can’t just buy cards I want (like every other card game), your content really helps me enjoy the journey.

Death is versatile? While i do use her a lot. I don't see her working without either wave or any Destroy cards. I agree with Aero and the rest tho, Death imo isn't the most versatile.

Honestly I wouldn't recommend buying any Pool 3 cards tbh cuz you get all of them for free anyway, unless you're missing 2-3 cards to complete an entire deck, for ex. you have a discard deck and are missing Hela and Ghost Rider. If they show up, buy em.

I bought Lockjaw and Patriot. Lockjaw is probably the most fun card to play with, and Patriot is just so good.

My most is Mystique, my least would have to be Attuma...so bad he didn't even make your unlock order list lol. Mistakes were made when I chose to throw those tokens away!

Great Vid man. I'd love a full update of this graphic every three months showing how archetypes are evolving but maybe a short monthly vid focused only on new card drops and how you'd prioritize them in shop. Can't imagine the time you put into this. Thanks for the quality.

I'd say best FIRST cards would be Destroyer, Daredevil, Areo, Electro. As you can make a decent Series 2 deck with just that 1 new card.

I regret buying daredevil from the token shop. Looking at all the reaction combos utilizing daredevil made me briefly forget that he only provides two power, which can cost you the game if you can't cheese the opponent on turn 5.

great vid, but yes the token shop needs an overhaul, either letting players buy the tokens not in bundles like gold or just adding a craft system into the game

My friends all got the cards I wanted early. They got sera, brood, mr negative, cerebro, maximus, and more as their first cards of pool 3. My first cards were crossbones and black cat :/ This video really brought it all back to me

Of course Maria (my only above pool 3 card is penultimate on this list) 100% agree though purchasing cards should only be done on cards that can be used in many decks or if you have all cards for that style of deck. I really wish that the collector shop was change to 1) enable a "show more often" so it appears more frequently but you still get new cards appearing as well because sometimes you don't know what you want till you see it and 2) be able to "don't show me this".

Once i completed pool 3, I went for thanos and got lucky by pulling a galactus in a chest.

Great video. Looks like I have most of pool 3 and have some pool 4 & 5 cards.l but I’m at CL 2027 and keep getting variants of cards I already have and damn name titles. I’ve only bought venom,patriot and maybe one more card can’t remember and trying to save for Wong but man earning tokens is a slow process.

Or would be amazing if we could easily compare the cards we have vs the cards we need to achieve certain archetypes. It's a bit all over the map and complicated for me to figure out which archetype I'm the closest at achieving in order to head in a particular direction.

I really do appreciate this video. The only problem and I know you stated it but there is no way for us to get tokens. The only way we can is in random caches and even then it's only a hundred tokens. I've had she hulk pinned for weeks and I just got to a thousand tokens. Something just doesn't feel right with how we earn tokens.

Great Video and love the Graphics, I think doing this once a month to add in the new cards from the previous month would be the best release cadence for this video series. One note I think you should add next time is mentioning that there are drawbacks to buying the series 3 cards first. Sure they are cheaper but series 3 have a pity of 4, where series 4 has a high pity of 40 and series 5 have no pity. Also you will complete the series 3 pool faster but you are spending 1000 to get 400 collection token in your Reserves where that Series 3 card would be. As a 1500CL cheap to play player myself trying to collect everything, I think the better approach to spending tokens is to skip series 3 cards and focus on the series 4 and 5 cards. Tokens are coming in really slow so I feel there is more value is saving for the highly versatile series 4 and 5 cards that. My plan has been to get and have gotten She-Hulk and Absorbing man and then focus on Series 5. All that is to say I get that people can have different approaches to the game and what they want out of it. So there is 100% value is this amazing guide you made, just sharing a view that I felt was not represented in this guide

When I started my journey in pool 3 the first card I saw was She-Hulk and I said: "fuck it my favorite card is Sunspot and She-Hulk likes to skip turns SOOOO..." No regrets at all, my two favorite cards at the moment. My second buy was Deadpool and I didnt use it a single time hahaha But I like the character so it's okay. Maybe when I get Venom.

I bought Daredevil from the shop, he saved a lot of my ass, hes so good no regret im very happy, all i need are spidey/goblin/absorbingman for my ultimate trollcontrol deck

What you said about " By the time you reach Series 3, you should know what type of decks you like to play". This is so important for people to understand! Marvel Snap is the first CCG ive got into HEAVILY! Ive had to learn what archetypes i enjoy & what i dislike. Heck, some cards themselves i strongly dislike (looking at you Leader!), but other people love! Galactus just doesn't click with me, as ive learned i enjoy being able to play my deck across all 3 lanes. with the games going all the way to end-game at T6 or T7. The locations which force me to NOT play my deck i insta-retreat 100% of the time. Im just not interested in them & find them unfun!

I finally got 6k and all that shows up in my shop is Mbaku and Variants

Hint hint for those who want to be f2p only...the algorithm will show you as the luckiest player in the game giving you the best cards faster than those they know will dump $100 per week to obtain what they want...but their odds go down the more they spend...odds get up when you spend less because they want to either draw your money in or use you as a walking advertisement to other players as "look at how this card works that you don't have yet" and you got it from a cache draw but they need to buy the premium package for 2700 gold to get that card. That's the algorithm for many of this genre of games...

Cozy, Ben Brode wrote me back on Twitter yesterday. When I asked him a bunch of questions this was his feedback to my questions: They have ZERO plans for changing the token system. They will not be giving tokens to players for reaching 1k CL and 3k CL, like they did when they first opened the shop to help players out. They WILL NOT be adding tokens to the weekly missions or daily missions. They WILL NOT be increasing the tokens for Series 3 players. Also, they love the distribution variance of 200-600 tokens in the upcoming patch for Series 3 complete players. My conclusion=They don't give a sh*t about the player base and their opinions.

I love all your content, man, but I'll play devil's advocate on this one. People look up decklists to help them complete their collection. It is better to have an optimized deck, which might leave out some otherwise high priority cards on your list. IMO, that fact makes this list kinda unnecessary, although excellently crafted. I think the format with full decklists and lists of substitutions is probably better at conveying what guide is trying to do.

This kind of video could be a good shout with each big Meta Shift or each time a new set of cards are released that cause other top options to become less relevant

Ever since Galactus jumped out of the X mansion, I've wanted that card so that's what I spent my initial tokens on. It's definitely counterintuitive but since then I've just bought people I think are cool.
