In this video, we explore Yorktown Battlefield in Virginia, the site of the last major BATTLE of the Revolutionary War, where General George Washington and his allies defeated General Charles Cornwallis and his British army on October 19, 1781. This victory secured America’s independence and shaped the nation’s future. We visit this Colonial National Historical Park, which protects and interprets this historic site. Join us as we discover what it took for the United States to be independent and how Yorktown Battlefield continues to inspire us today.

Outdoors I prefer seeing wildlife than people and I like the sound of free! Yorktown sounds pretty cool, a great day for the US, not so for the British. I loved the ship inside the visitor centre, my 3 year old grandson would love that. Looks and sounds an interesting place to visit, cheers Alan

We loved visiting the Yorktown Battlefield a year or so ago. Pretty amazing to realize you are walking where Geroge Washington and Alexander Hamilton and the first American troops walked - and where so much history took place. Thanks for bringing back memories of this historic sight!

Very cool outing and nice that you can combine admissions. Nice that they give you a couple days to do it too. Such a historic site. Crazy to think it would take over a hundred years to complete the monument and everyone who commissioned it never got to see it.

This was informative and very scenic. A mixture of history and travel 😍! I liked the historic white house where the ceasefire talks were held. Yet to visit America 🇺🇸, still on my 🪣 list. That sounds like a much better drive over to Yorktown. Good to know about the pricing of combining both locations. The boys sounded like they enjoyed the interactive portions of the visitor center. The driving tour was very informative. Moore house is a beautiful manor.

This looks like such a great place Melissa and I especially loved the moorhouse, so historic thinking about the 1700s. Couldnt watch much as we are back out camping with limited data and signal but leaving a like 👍 🙂~ Anna

So sorry I missed this one! Wow, this is so cool to see this park and how much history is here! Awesome you got in for free from your prior tickets 🎉 looks like a great visitors centre to learn about the battle of Yorktown. So cool it was led by George Washington! Cool ship! The boys look like they are having a blast. Washington’s tent how cool!! The Moore house is cool to see since the negotiations happened there, so neat! What an amazing time exploring history. Wow, beautiful monument. Thanks for sharing with us! 😊💕

I am glad that I have a chance to learn about one of American History that It has been a long time I got into...lol Wow, what did you feel when you see the field in front of you where actually the historical event happened!? I am certain your boys appreciate it all you have done for them. OMGoodness they grew again? I bet you all are taking vacation one destination to another through the summer. I cannot wait for your future projects/films. Please take them to Stone Mountain if you have not. Make sure to wear a pair of good grip shoes. One huge rock you will be climbing and it is slippery some places. Unless you take a cable car up and down. But It is work hike up to enjoy the view as you may have seen in K7S' vid. Have you thought about taking them camping? Apologies for my absence since I hurt my ribs. Now I am catching up..
