This morning I finally completed the last of the first project we took on since my husband John died. I felt John guide me when I really needed him. It has been so very difficult to work completely alone. We were never or very seldom apart from eachother for twenty-five years. We lived together we worked all day everyday together we loved life together and we helped others together.
I had so many set backs during this first project since John died in my arms. Just this week I've had to pick another person to benefit from a small life insurance policy I had always hoped would go to my Johnny when I go first.
I had to fight with the stem cell storage facility to simply just return what is part of my husband's body to me so I can place them to rest
I've had to make alternative arrangements for a veteran's memorial marker to place on the veterans walk because the local company price was $690 and one supplied by a foundry run by veterans costs $280. They meet the same government specifications. I realize the local facility needs to make a living but I can't afford this much of a mark up.
And I'm alone trying to deal with all of this.
I miss my sweet sweet husband so very much. He was always so very happy. Making him happy made me happy.
