This song serves as the finale of a hyper agressive grindcore album. The section with the violin and the interplay with the guitars and drums is incredibly cathartic for me. Probably my favorite musical moment of 2022. Gives me the goosebumps.

I love Black Metal, and I love Grindcore. Wormrot's first few albums were just straight up ferocious Grind, but their last two albums have had a few moments that tug on the heartstrings, like Black Metal does, although not quite the same vibe. It's so strange to hear sweet emotion in a Grind album, but it works. I swear Wormrot are making a new genre. I love them though, seen them three times so far.

I'm getting kinda neocrust-y vibes from this one. It's a similarly fast-paced, agressive punk genre that takes influence from other places like black and post-metal, screamo etc. If you took that style in a slightly more grindy direction, you'd pretty much get this.

This album is a masterpiece. I definitely would recommend to listen to it from Front to back if you have the time. It’s only like 30 minutes.

man i love your analysis. the contrast between beautiful and disgusting or uplifting and depressing really shows in this song. lyrically they write pretty emotional pieces but they also work with a lot of uplifting and even comedic themes.

Love the production myself. Clearer and punchier than a lot of grind. Great emotive draw at the end pretty surprising to finish off a grind album.

Grindcore was never really my thing--it pushed metal too close to punk for my tastes--but this was pretty damn good for what it is. I could definitely appreciate the intense intricacy of the drums, and the riffs/solos were quite compelling too; perhaps it's more the traditional DM/BM elements I'm enjoying here. Also really appreciate how they switched it up about midway through. Not sure if I'd enjoy an entire album of this, but this one track at least was pretty cool.

Hyper aggressive grindcore......That's tuff. I like how the vocals weren't right in your face. I enjoyed it.

@1:56 lol. @23:50 - Me thinks you should steer towards genre-preferences a little more, to prevent 'reaction fatigue'. Come on audience, please stop recommending stuff Bryan will obviously dislike. I enjoyed the violin section, but wouldn't suffer the other noise again to reach that small part.
