Concrete block of 150 x 150 mm sq of Grade M20 is suppose to have compressive strength of 20MPa but this practical video shows it has a strength of 400 Kg/cm sq i.e approximately 40MPa which is quiet impressive.

40 mpa is target strength decide for perticular characteristic strenght .. if there happens to be bad workmanship , high w/c ratio will least get 20 mpa

Thank you. that was a great info. ignore those repeater id*ots saying about safety wherein this is just a very small scale experiment. Dirty hands are sign of good labor anyway.

The recipe is 1:1.5:3 that is for M20 But Compressive Strength is around 39.22 N/mm2 ; i.e. for M40 Why this is so?

20 is fck which is below this only 5% cube result must fall ane 95% cube must have strength more then this

which equipment is used to compact the concrete filled in moulds? what is the ideal weight/area in kg/cm^2 for M45, M30, M15 grade concrete respectively? How much load is being applied per cm to the concrete cubes surface if a manual, lever arm operated Compression Testing machine is used? In automatic Compression Testing Machine, as mentioned by you, the load transfer rate is 140 tonnes per cm. Please correct me if I am wrong. Also if the mixture is taken according to 3 moulds quantitatively, then if the readings aren't 15 plus or minus of each other, the whole mixing process has to be done again?

The grade of cube was M20 (20 N/mm2) and the strength comes out 40 N/mm2......

Initially it is OK.. But over a period, will it retain all it's original strength?.. However the clay brick is time tested.

In real case is sample to be collected from Construction Site during its construction (i.e slab)or 1st we prepare in lab then after we get results we start in real construction filed? simply testing is done in lab before construction or during the day of construction sample is taken to lab?

@@Er-NilstarGaming no no, 90 ton is the load which made concrete cube to rupture... that means concrete cube have ability to withsatnd 90 tons per cm square... and 1000 is multiply to change ton in kg.
