I have to say, I have been struggling remembering/comprehending certain things in this exam. I cant exaggerate enough how much I like your teaching style. You are different from other creators for example Professor Messor whom I wasted much of time watching. You are different as in, you actually take the time to pull up photos and analyze those photos. Thank you for that!

These modules have been very helpful to me in preparing for my A+ certification. Your modules are broken down to understand much better than other videos I have viewed. The material is very detailed, for the cost of what the average Community College would charge for the same amount of education. You deserve every cent of donation given, and I'm glad to be a part of this support. Bless You for Sharing!

I appreciate your content very much. Thank you for making it. Whenever possible, please use more pictures, or show the pictures immediately once you begin discussing the new item. I think you did an excellent job of that in your Exam Questions video. In this video you talk a lot more, prior to showing the picture. That method makes it more difficult for a visual learner to absorb the material.

Hi, Yes you will be able to write the exams after watching all 20 modules since you would have done the whole course but depending your experience I would advise taking another week or two to just go through stuff again and check for anything you still feel uncomfortable with :)

I am 20 and I've been studying computer since I was about 12. In more recent years since I was about 16 or 17 I shifted my focus to cybersecurity. I'm going for this certification because of the credibility of it. Now my question is, will the exam ask about modular vs semi modular vs non modular PSU?
@BurningIceTech
@BurningIceTech 3 ай бұрын
Nope, the exam won't ask you about those aspects of a PSU

Referring to multi channel system memory, you state that you want to pick the slot closest to the cpu because it will be faster, but on my mother board it says use dimmA2 and dimmB2 first which are the 2nd and 4th slot. why is that?
@Refined_Notion
@Refined_Notion 6 ай бұрын
In most cases, you would want to use the slots closest to the CPU first. But that's just a generalization. You should always follow the motherboard's documentation, and if it says you should use the slots in a specific order, then you should follow it. Not all motherboards have their RAM channels configured the same way.

These videos are great; however, I'd like to point out some things they could do better. I'm only on the second module, but I feel like this may be a reoccurring theme in the others. You have a habit of introducing topics without offering any explanation. One example would be near the end of this video where you talked about multi-threading and virtualization support regarding CPU's. Now maybe those topics aren't necessary to cover because they aren't integral for the exam, however, to have a little information to understand the concepts would go a long way in making the videos more understandable. There are also several topics that you touch on and you simply say, "You guys know what this is," and you move on. This certification is a beginner cert, and it would be best to assume the person watching does not in fact know what you're talking about. You don't need to go into depth on these elementary topics, but a little clarification will go a long way. I'm taking notes in a Word document while watching, and I already have 18 pages and 4,116 words at the end of this video. The way you talk about things are often out of order with how you present them, requiring a little back pedaling on the user's part. It's also hard to tell at times what I should type into the notes and what is not necessary to remember. You do a good job emphasizing what we need to know for the exam, however, highlighting other key information that we should know/remember would be appreciated. None of this is meant to detract from how great these videos are, and I don't mean to bite the hand that feeds me since these videos are saving most of us a lot of money rather than us buying the study material from CompTIA. I appreciate the work that goes into these videos.
