My dude!!!! I took my Sec+ 701 this morning and passed! Your questions are definitely more realistic. I have not worked in a tech role and this was my first time taking a CompTIA test. Your way of breaking down the questions really helped me a ton!

Passed 762. (85%) Your videos taught me to slow down and dissect the questions so I wouldn’t miss any hints. CompTIa Sec+ study and practice test, and your videos was my main study material. Linux is a must have so Linux+ is my next step, plus I already use it anyway.

Congrats! That's awesome. Yeah, the most important part to any CompTIA exams is to understand how the questions are asked and learning how to dissect each question to find the BEST answer. Linux is one of the only CompTIA exams I haven't done, but I should! Congrats again!

I’m planning on doing a yt video on resources I used and I will for sure be mentioning you ❤️ it really felt like they’re testing your reading and comprehension skills but the method of reading the question, reading the answers and going back to the question after knocking some answers out is what really helped me. Thanks for the video series, for question 18, if the company does not have backups, how do they have an incident response plan? I would think in this sceniro, contacting law enforcement, would provide them with resources to manage the incident. just my thought.

for me, the exam was very similar to these questions but with a lot of abbreviations. so you need know what they stand for in order to get the correct answer. I passed the 701 exam just a few days ago and I watched all of his videos the night before to prepare. id also go on Udemy when they have a sale and buy some highly rated practice exams for cheap because that's what I did and helped out a lot.

Question 19: By your reasoning, you didn’t choose answer A because it didn’t address BOTH the web AND CMS, but you chose answer D, which only addressed the CMS, but not the web. That’s confusing. From a testing standpoint for a beginner, how should we think about the inconsistency this question and its answers? Thanks for your time!

Question 9: Just a username and password without 2FA or something similar is considered “strong authentication”? With CompTIA, is their focus not on asking REAL questions in its entirety and grammatically but more on our ability just to give the BEST answer out of the given choices even if it doesn’t make sense?

Some of these are a lot harder than any of the exam questions messer and dion ever gave. I scored 90% on messer but 70% on this.

Awesome content though a few answers could be debatable, like 13, the wording being 'most likely', I personally struggle to see how a Zero day, being a very rare and costly exploit would be 'most likely' in any scenario.

Make sure to look at the paper/PDF depending on if you took the exam in person or online! It should show you objectives where you need to dig a little bit deeper. Let me know when you pass, you got this!

I am a little confused on question one. From my understanding, credential stuffing uses stolen username and password PAIRS and the prompts says that the credential are being "randomly generated". Without more context in the question, this sounds more like password spraying or brute force.

Let's say I had a list of legitimate usernames and password matches from company X, and I wanted to use that list on a totally unrelated company Y. There is a very high chance that none of them would work. However, it could look very random. Also, randomly generated is a very subjective term in IT. Out of the 4 possible options, Credential stuffing attack is the only one that would make sense. This is a very common tactic on CompTIA exams, especially on the Pentest+ exam with many tools in the objectives that do very similar things. There could be a better answer that fits the scenario, question, and symptoms, but it's important to pick the right solution out of the available options.
