Mixing two vastly different interests you really like is a true joy in life. As a filmmaker, I relish working in the hectic world of movie making. However, people often look at me weirdly when I disappear to write and edit my poetry books instead of partying after a hard day at work because it doesn't seem to fit this crazy lifestyle.🤷🏻‍♂

In your old Q&A, you said your job goal is to either be a researcher at a tech company or a professor. Have your goals changed since then? I'm also curious as to what school you went to for your bachelors. I'm a 4th year CS major myself. I was on track to graduate this year, but I'm delaying it by a year to study in Korea and try for summer internships. I've thought about pursuing a Master's; however, it's likely not worth it unless I choose the thesis option and research a topic I genuinely enjoy. Anyway, I believe you're pursuing a PhD in CS with concentrations in machine learning. What specific application of ML are you researching? DL, NLP, CV, or?

wow, they are very different interests and i think it really shows people that even though you do something as a job or as studying, you can always take up like small interests in your free time. i really like these vlogs and i hope we can see more!
