With the help of my amazing family and support from my friends, I managed to finish my first ever Comrades Ultra-Marathon on August 28th, 2022 in just under 11 hours! Nothing beats being there in-person, but for those who could not make it, here's a little home-made documentary of this incredible event from our particular vantage point: 2 days in 20 minutes!

At the 6:16 mark you mentioned nipple chaffing. Try vaseline and bandaid on your next marathon+ distance run. I figured this solution out years before ever running Comrades - it was during a long run. Well done on the Bronze medal! You can return for your back to back, but I recommend you try the up-run two years from now. I found it more challenging than the down

Thanks for the tip! I also made the classic mistake of wearing a shirt that I've never run in before 🤦♂- which I'm sure added to my problem 😂

@Vic Stander best thing to prevent nipple chafing is kino tape. It doesn't come off. And makes the world of different. Once applied you won't think about it again. You may even forget you put it on.
