They were a group of the 70s strong and actually to me Michael Cooper was the voice of the Con Funk Shun, he later left to be a solo artist and made a hit or two but his most biggest hit was (Dinner For Two).

I agree. They should definitely be on the high scale with Kool & Kang and Frankie Beverly & Maze cannot begin to touch them. They are still tops .
