In the beginning they are wearing standard high index or "Myodisk" lenses in their glasses. After they visit the Dr. they are wearing super high index, with perhaps a "double lens" design.

-6 is not so thick in 1.67 or 1.74 index. In plastic frame it's not visible from the side at all

Really a minus 6 is not that bad.. A high index lens will allow you to wear almost any frame.

@Cervello Liquido non dirlo a me che ne mancano -7,50 e -8, su questa gradazione le lenti per quanto puoi farle fare più sottili, l'effetto binocolo resta comunque, ma soprattutto senza occhiali non puoi vivere ahahah, questi addirittura si alzano fanno colazione e tutto ,per poi metterli solo prima di uscire

@@andromeducc Ultra high index lens material, plus a "double lens" design. Years ago, "Flint glass"- ( AO-light ) was used for strong prescriptions, but todays safety standards prohibit a highly breakable glass and heavy material..

I am shallow.. They are a beautiful family and it is shame that beautiful child wears about a minus 12 or so power.. Myopia is becoming an "epidemic" in todays society. I wore a -4.50 in 1962 ( age 9 ) and was fit with hard contact lenses to diminish the progressive myopia..

@@gauravarora9752 I am sorry I never responded !!! I went up to a minus 7.75 plus high astigmatism. I had special "orthokeratology" hard lenses that I wore and my prescription diminished, but because the "PMMA" material did not transmit oxygen, plus I over-wore them- I started acquiring corneal abrasions. After years of having "reoccurring corneal erosions", I can now wear the Boston ES lens material safely and have a "oddly small diameter of 8.5" to reduce bearing on the cornea and aid in comfort. ( The currant trend is to fit larger RGP lenses, but they are uncomfortable ) My Rx is now ( almost age 70 ) a -3.00 and I wear reading glasses over the contacts.. Thank you….

Considering the Childs prescription, she likely started with a -3.00 power and at that point was too nearsighted to use your technique. Or were you meaning for her to wear bifocals, which I agree will help young children ? I would have been a better candidate. I started with a -0.75 and would have benefitted from your technique. By the time I was 9, I was wearing a -4.50 and started wearing hard contact lenses, which reduced my myopia. I now wear a -2.50, which is not horrible..

Esteticamente fa cagare avere lenti giganti a causa di diottrie alte, certamente non è colpa tua ma anche se già detto non è colpa tua fa brutto lo stesso vedere tutte quelle strane refrazioni sulle lenti e se questi possono aiutarti perchè screditarli.

@@trimuloinsano mi mancano quasi 7 diottrie, il problema lo conosco e lo subisco. Il video è fatto in modo poco rispettoso, come lo sarebbe un video per prodotto dimagrante in cui gli obesi vengono ridicolizzati. Piano con le parole

@@antoniofrusciante4275 non mi sembra proprio che lo facciano con l'intendo di ridicolizzarci, soltanto che si nota molto il difetto. Non hanno mica accentuato l'effetto della lente, è proprio così in alte diottrie
