Bro that perma was somewhat vital to the story of pd vs forum. Shit has become serious. Now PD has a good reason to always go aggressive in that place when they have the numbers. Hopefully they try investigating rather that just yapping and moaning about it.

The person chooses too perma their character then they just delete the character from the server

In their application they usually ask for specific conditions for a character to be perma'd, or some wacky shit goes down and it's good for rp.

The player decides whether or not when they "go down" if their character will die from their injuries or not. A lot of the time it's planned out, and people are aware it's happening OOC. I recommend watching the character Wingman get perma'd, or even Sam Baas. 'Tis a pretty good example of a well thought out perma situation.
