Warhammer is pretty popular, it is a massive book series. And has a ton of video games that incredibly popular, also had a blockbuster movie made after them. It is fairly nerdy, but a great real time strategy game series, lol.

Conan and Craig Ferguson were by far the best hosts. You should check out some of Craig's interviews (as opposed to skits) maybe him interviewing Ricky Gervais.

To educate OB Dave about other late night hosts, David Letterman recently started a channel that has a lot of his old bits from the show. Always found Dave working for Taco Bell hilarious and paved the way for Conan's crazy humor. Conan has said his goal early in his career was to be a writer for Letterman.

Warhammer (there's Fantasy and 40K, different universes) is very much a kind of tactical game. It's less like D&D and more like an extremely complicated game of chess. People choose from various armies to build and paint that represent different factions and then play out battle scenarios using the individual statistics of the different units. There are plenty of people who do indeed just collect and paint without ever actually playing. The miniatures are molded in incredible detail so lots of people spend years honing their craft. Sometimes they get good enough that magazines and publications will hire them to do paint work for them.

Great reaction video! The girls are boxed up, in storage though they did make the rounds with me to a few comic convention drawing workshops pre lockdown. Someday I will gather up all my dry-erase art from my Conan days into a book.

I collect the occasional figure. Things from movies and music, to hang on my wall. I wouldn't have dreamed back when I was like 10 that I would own a bloody Chucky doll, Gremlins, Captain Spaulding from House of 1000 Corpses or a set of KISS figures from their Psycho Circus era. So it's the cool stuff, wich still might be nerdy to many.

It's strange to see you guys disparaging a hobby a hell of a lot people like. Playing wargames with some friends on a tabletop may not be your cup of tea, but a lot of people enjoy it. The coolest Brit I've ever met I met through playing D&D. He was a real nice guy, well liked by women, well adjusted, smart. He just enjoyed slaying virtual dragons once or twice a week while making new friends.

David Letterman is a true legend. Did his late night talk show for about 10 years, then Conan took over as really an unknown. His previous work was all writing so nobody really knew anything about him, but the guy who was his executive producer - Jeff Ross (no, not that one) and Lorne Michaels from SNL recommended he take over Letterman's show. Obviously they were right. I'm not sure how a behind- the- scenes guy does so great with everyone, but he's great. Letterman was funny with remotes too, like when he worked at Taco Bell 😁

Yeah that was creepy! As far as collecting dolls or action figures or things we played with as kids (😏) there's a show on Sunday night where people have collections of literally thousands of items. For instance Star Wars items, or Barbies, trolls, models, anything. I guess it's a neater form of hoarding. 🤔 Conan also does a segment of Pierre's Recliner of Rage 😄 Too funny! If you guys are really surprised about nostalgia nuts, you GOTTA watch Triumph at Comic Con where people are in costume and play their favorite comic book hero. Triumph is a master of insults and they're all asking for it 🤣

I know red said he didn't like Kimmel but he had a show called the man show that might have some clips for you. The hosts always had a beer and they ended every episode with hot chicks jumping on trampolines. The ones that stick out are the manpon and the man show boy asking people inappropriate questions

When they started the channel, one of the guys was in his 30s, one in his 40's (Daz) & one in his fifties. It's not unusual to have grandkids in your forties if you had a child in your 20's.
