I did not understand his humor back then. He was so far ahead of his time, and such a unique personality, I just didn't get his gig. Seeing it now, I realize he's one of the all time greats, and deserves everything he is getting now.

He doesn't really give a shit about how the audience perceives him, he's just being what he thinks is funny and making himself happy, which happens to also just be funny. He reminds me of my uncle.
