This started when Conan made a joke about Ukraine (I think?) and got a ton of mail for it, which was the first time he and the staff had found out that they were airing in Ukraine. The goal was then to insult every other country to see where else they were airing. Since it's a US show there wasn't any need to include them too.

funny you say that, Conan NEVER denied that there are problems in Haiti, or any country he visits in his remotes. He specifically said there are issues with their economy and crime and stuff like that, but it's important to not belittle the people, who are trying to recover after constantly being harassed by other countries after their liberation. In the context of these insults (in which he insults more than countries most ppl would consider "shitholes" aka African nations) is that he is trying to be rude and insulting to get their attention for a bit, it has nothing to do with being an asshole for the sake of it. Conan never lied about Haiti, he just chose to defend their humanity, he showed the good organizations in Haiti are doing to try to fix their situation, show a new perspective. Honestly, the people who hate on Conan for this didn't even watch the remote in its entirety, yall are just mad that he decided to show a different perspective that counters the apparent G O D, all seeing truth sayer that is Trump.
