1. The Extra large books are for teachers/librarians for when they're reading to a group of children - so that all of them can see the illustrations. 2. Edemame are basically large peas. 3. Put a harmonica/mouth organ in any child's hand and eventually they'll make a series of sounds that sound legitimately good. I have a few videos of my daughter playing the harmonica and - not only does it sound good, but she even, naturally/instinctually adopts a bluesy demeanor.

Conan actually did a whole show with just kids in the audience.

The word edamame is Japanese. Edamame are soybeans in a pod. They are boiled, and then you break or squeeze open the pod and eat the beans inside. They were introduced to the US as a kind of "appetizer" to munch on while you wait for your sushi or whatever in a Japanese restaurant. All US grocery stores now sell edamame in the frozen vegetable section. Take them home and put them in the microwave.

The books are big because they're classroom books for young kids 😂😂😂😂. They are made so the teacher can read to the whole class and the kids can see the pictures at the same time. Intended for younger kids who cant read or are just learning to read. The good ol days a nice story before nap time.

In around 2009, there was a slight moment of elation when Conan finally got the chair to the Tonight Show, after Jay Leno left, but things didn't work out. So after only a very short moment of 7 months, NBC decided it wasn't going to work out, removed Conan & put Jay Leno back temporarily. Because of this sleight, Conan got depressed & in this moment of clarity he decided to just slump around the nation playing music in a band. That could be where you might have seen some clips of him playing, although he'll play when he wants, just like in this clip with the kids. After that stint with touring around in a band, he finally got a new talk show of his own on the TBS cable channel, which ran for 8 seasons, which if you think about it was only half the tenure he had at his first talk show gig at Late Night. Conan getting booted off Tonight Show was a huge controversy back then, for the fact that every one wanted the Tonight Show seat, including David Letterman & Conan, but that Jay eventually got it in the early 1990's after Johnny Carson retired. For me, Johnny Carson is my favorite late night talk show host of my time partly because of his longevity & then Conan is right up there as a huge close 2nd runner up. Many people do not like Jay because of situation even though it was only partly Jay's fault for what happened to Conan. The rest of the faults might go to NBC executives & also to Conan who might have been a little bit incompatible with the established format of the Tonight Show. I think you should find a video on this "Jay vs. Conan" talk show war & have that as one of your reactions later on. It might be intriguing for you guys on the other side of the pond. In fact before this "war", the prior battle was between Jay & David. But again, since you binge on Conan, I think Jay vs. Conan is more appropriate for you guys.
