Lea’s Pretty Woman audition story is interesting. The movie was originally supposed to be as she described - a drama about prostitution and drugs - and did not have a happy ending. Lea either auditioned before Disney took over and turned it into a Rom-Com or her agent forgot to tell her what was happening. 😆😆

Actually the original script for Pretty Woman was very dark. It wasn't a romantic comedy it was a female version of American gigolo or Midnight Cowboy. It was only after it it signed on with Touchstone (which was owned by Disney) that they made it more funny and more like a "fairytale"
