I could swear this remote originally had "Rocking Down The Highway" by The Doobie Brothers playing in the background. Either they couldn't secure music rights, or I'm thinking of a different remote similar to this one. Whenever we hear that song, we talk about Conan & Andy riding off to the middle of nowhere because it made us laugh that much back in the day.

I love the idea of "let the winds of fate guide us" and throwing a dart on a map for a road trip. Never know what you'll find, especially in the state of New York: a good mix of rural farms (where you pick your own fruits and vegetables, buy fresh milk and honey) and towns nestled within gorgeous mountains with retro diners, sandwich shops, old taverns and antique stores...PA and Jersey are more or less the same as you drive towards the center of the state. State parks with boating/kayaking lakes, camping, beautiful mountains.. caverns and coal mining towns that have ghost tours, mining or cave tours, history tours, vineyards and wineries... list goes on and on. If you decide to visit upstate New York I'd recommend looking up popular towns around the finger lakes, Auburn, Ithaca, Corning were some of the towns I've been to, each with their own attractions. The Hudson Valley just above Manhattan has a lot to do in the summer and fall if you stay in the area for a couple days. Trip Advisor is solid in finding things to do.
