License to Kill was easily one of the best Bonds. I did not appreciate him when I was a Kid watching bond films with my dad and brother. Always the thought Connery was the best. Then Casino Royale came out and I rewatched his two bonds. Really wish he had more of them.

I feel The Living Daylights is one of the best. “Girl with the cello!” Great synth-pop contribution from A-ha. Great Winter action scenes with the gorgeous Aston Martin V8 Vantage, Series 2, (technically a Volante?) And to add- he was the man to bring the darker, more serious, steely and sufficiently brutal Bond back to the screen. Nothing against Roger Moore, but the last few Bond films before Daylights were getting pretty campy and silly. Dalton did a much deserved, refreshing and excellent job with the character.

I've yet to see that one, but I saw his first one, "The Living Daylights," and it blew me away. Probably my favorite Bond flick I've seen so far. I felt like it was just in general a great film, not just as a Bond film. (Although the bit about Muslim "freedom fighters" in the middle east portrayed as saints and heroes probably hasn't aged as well, but okay not the movie's fault) Sean Connery is still perhaps the most iconic for me. The definition of suave, gentleman agent. All the Bonds are great. They cast them well.

@@marjanp4784 yeah really I’m coming from a woman’s perspective of the character. Oh my God I wanted to be that bond girl I was jealous of her. I didn’t know what to think. I mean you know to be afraid of him and run away or just run into his arms as I tell you, the man is stunning in his voice, Lord and it’s just sad that they didn’t give him more movies to do because I would have loved them. It’s just a Bomer and a big let down of the franchise but here we have our pond the one in the novels and it’s just sad but well done Timothy Dalton well done and if you’re listening to me you will always be my bond always and forever

Connery Dalton Craig In that order, the rest don't really matter to me. I would say Dalton was a close second to Connery. Connery the best as he did more movies , but if Dalton did have a good run he could of been better than Connery. Early Craig was great too, but late Craig was a bit meh. His films went downhill the longer he stayed in the role , was just doing it for money in the end. Connery went same way too, his later films were pretty bad

@@IAMDigiMortal that’s why they call it the biggest blunder in bond history they had an actor who looked like the character and played it to a T and with the lawsuit and everything going on back then in the franchise going dormant for six years really and by the time it was time for them to renew his contract he said one film they wanted more and he left. Then we got Brosnan and that was a devastating thing to me because I watched goldeneye on cable my house, and believe me when I watch that movie I got really pissed because that movie called and I was Taylor made for Dalton not for Brosnan. Really thanks for nothing.

Timothy Dalton is the best Bond! Bad ass while also being charming at the same time. The Living Daylights was a good movie despite lackluster ending. License to Kill is most underrated Bond movie ever and great movie in general! Didn't do the usual formula which worked in this case! Best Bond Villain since very realistic. Pam Bouvier is the best Bond Girl as she kicks butt and is independent. Q has a bigger role. Finally, stakes are higher since no back-up and no guarantee that plan will work. Would have loved to see more of him as Bond, weirdly enough his role in "Looney Tunes: Back in Action" brings closure to his time as Bond!

@@bonghunezhou5051 I'd argue even his portrayal in The Living Daylights (as well as elements of the film itself) set the stage for Craig-era Bond films. He eschews most of the humor and displays a sleek professionalism, not wasting time in getting the job done, unlike Connery. Not to mention the political elements of the film like the inclusion of the Mujahideen aren't dissimilar to how Spectre included modern-day political themes like mass surveillance.
