Well I ran into a little bit of an issue. I need to shorten an existing spool made up of only fittings. Is that even possible? I'm here to tell you that it is!!

Another awesome tutorial!! I have to admit, when looking in the blue book, it's like I'm reading another language. So thanks for putting this video on here. I think it's the only one. 👍

The best education for one is to learn thru his or her mistakes or listening closely to those who made the mistakes themselves.

Thank you boss. You are 100% correct. I hope people learn from all the mistakes and post it I’ve feedback on my videos. I don’t claim to be the best, matter of fact I’m way far from it! I hate making mistakes but they are inevitable in a learning process. Thanks for watching.

@@VantageWelding There are those who would say anyone could be a welder or it is just a trade for those not educated enough. You proved that theory is nothing but crap. I look forward to watching your videos, very educational from a working man perspective. Keep up the good work!

Thanks bro. There’s a lot of room for improvements to be honest. Pretty cool learning experience though. Was scared to heat the metal too much to where I made it too brittle. 😅

Top stuff young man! I only do farm repairs and similar type welding jobs. Have watched many hours of USA based pipe welders and I am always impressed. You did great work and a very accurate and neat professional job!

get that baby Pumpkin Orange...lots hotter than Cherry Red......better yet, Sunburst Yellow......sorry, my art school training is kicking in......Bravo

Almost melting. I need more skills and practice to make this baby perfect. I tried finding a video on how to but couldn’t find one unfortunately. I’ll keep that in mind. I feel like if I would of taken longer forming it, heating it, it would of came out a lot better. You live and you learn. Still pretty content with results.

Next time you lay-out for your reducer to cut, set it up just as you did to weld in vertical but cut pipe with the mot straight cut keeping tip towards center of pipe! Less gap in the end.
@VantageWelding2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for that tip brother. I will try that next time I run into this kind of project. Thanks for watching.
