I was at this concert……what a joy to hear it again!! Pippo……..one of the greatest voices of the century……he still had that incomparable unique sound even at sixty some years old!

Here he is no young anymore but he sings better and better then young Tenors !! PIPPO , you’re always the best ! Can you imagine what he was 20-30 or 40 years ago , when he was used to perform opposite all the best Singers of his Time , like Favero, Tebaldi, Callas, Carteri, Caballé .... 🌹 💖 🌹 : PIPPO, the NUMBER ONE !!!

Incredibili le tue interpretazioni di alcuni anni fa, quando ti esibivi al pubblico in tutti i migliori teatri del mondo da rimanere ammutoliti dalla tua bellezza sensuale, interpretativa tanto da diventare la tua VOCE unica una leggenda!

@@nietzschearistofanes Here some more nonsense for you Hector. Di Stefano may be the most beautiful quality of voice I ever heard. I also heard him live at Carnegie Hall circa 1960. His voice was very similar live than on recordings except for the beautiful over tones in the theater. Try to have a good day.
