Who's playing their music and showing their videos? They're being themselves it's the industry execs pushing their music and the kids are just eating it up. Their parents need to do what our parents did and introduce them to great music and positive examples.b

@MentalStillness I completely understand what you're saying. However, performing a song is completely different than coming on stage, showing your booty cheeks. I was completely upset when Lil Kim was half naked at a Summer Jam concert back in the day and I'm a fan of Lil Kim, Trina, Foxy Brown. It doesn't take all of that.

I smile whenever I see the Queen, Monie, Mc Lyte, YoYo, Bahamadiah, Lauryn, Lady of Rage, Mia X, Roxanne Shantè, All gorgeous and sexy Bar heavy Emcees that didn't have to overpush their sexuality to be taken serious as emcees. The Blueprint for what RAPSODY is carrying on strong. We need more of that balance back......when we had Kim, Foxy, Queen Pen, etc. but then we had Missy, Da Brat, Mc Lyte, Queen, Left Eye, Lauryn, etc. So that our lil girls and lil boys who grow up influenced by this culture of ours can have more than one representation of what beauty, being strong, being fierce, and being sexy is as a woman.
