Fabulous ! Very touching and moving. I wish this were better known. Has the feel of the monumental slow movements of a Mahler Symphony. Tonal.

It was Palestine under British Mandate. It was a Jewish orchestra which now is called Israel Philharmonic Orchestra. It was the first big orchestra in Palestine (Palestine as a historical territory, not the arabic state of Palestine which we hear today about).

Llevo poquísimo tiempo siguiendo este canal. Me sorprende que en él figuren obras de estos músicos tan "peculiares" -no sé cómo definirlos de manera general- junto a la de Antón García Abril. Espero ir reuniendo elementos para tener una visión más general. Hasta ahora he oído a Ben-Haim, a tres soviéticos y a García Abril. De momento es música contemporánea.
