If she had sung that song when she did "Bring me a man" with Alaska and Willam she would had killed it. I don´t think the key is to high I do think that the range might be the hardest.

One thing I noticed was that on the words High and cry Courtney didn't open her mouth wide enough to make the word, whereas Conchita has no problem with a wide open mouth to enunciate properly.

No it's not tone deafness. She can hit notes but it goes off kilter. She can hear herself. I've heard her sing songs with lower pitches and she performed superbly. It's the pitch that's a problem

From 3:50-3:52ish you can hear that note hit then slide, then dip...
