OMG I had a thought! ( I should let it go my wife said...) NO NO hear me out! Full floor and enclose it in! Rentable off grid cabin! You said to make comments.... so on the pond decor boat. Make sure you get Colored LEDS that light up the water. No clue if you can think of a good way to light the running water up coming out... Just a brain fart of a thought. Edited Talk to my buddy John. He said he uses cheap Laser lights? They light up the sprinkles ect.

Hello from Texas! When my wife came here 12 years ago, it was an exiting new novelty to "mow grass" The "new" wore off of that with our south Texas heat. We live on 4 acres now.... we fire up riding mowers and cut grass together now.

Would you consider have the pond containing sea water, could arrange rocks( Madame Mel's, specialty!(, and live corals. And there are multitude of brightly coloured small reef fish , shrimp ect , available. Have swum in small rock pools up here in northern Luzon, only a few feet deep, but full of fish. The important thing is to have it well aerated , which should be taken care of, by the water pump/ fountain ?! Some lighting( as others have mentioned), would enhance the effect( especially at night( but not all night, fish need to rest also ( wether in bed or on the couch!! Lol)).

@@jimanonymous113 talking about minnows. Some of the dried fish over here in the Philippines are no bigger than minnows! Lol One fish I watched in a rock pool in La Union, was only 3/4 's inch. Bright blue, with a bright yellow dorsal fin. He spent his life , protecting his tiny space/ territory, no more than 10 sq. Inches. Was a fascinating 15 minutes! Think a underwater web cam ,( live feed) ,would be great to watch, especially on a large TV screen. Like having a giant aquarium on the wall! Is very relaxing watching life in an aquarium. Had several large ones on our lounge wall back in the days, in the UK! Back in the days, my Filipina ante and her American husband, had two centres( one near Manila the other in Delaware. That handled, the gathering of live, marine life from all over the Western Pacific ti their Manila centre, then transporting them to Delaware, for supplying East coast aquarist stores. Was very time sensitive of course, delays ( common at Manila airport!!!!), Often mean large losses! Check out Bagoong. A very popular sauce made from fermented tiny fish ,shrimp ect. Especially eaten, when Filipinos eat unripe green mangos! We have a large production facility making that up on the coast near us in Pangasinan!

no and that does not even include the rings. The non marine version of that motor is about 35 hp less and the pistons cost about $80 each. Those can't be put in here and expect the same performance. I have found some in Denmark for $338 each. I will actually enjoy breaking it down and fixing it because I then will know exactly what I have as everything will be inspected as I go through it.

I tried really hard get the KTM 390 Adv, yesterday, but I’m just too vertically challenged, especially my short legs (that’s what she said! 😂🤣), so I ended up deciding on a 450 Kawasaki that would give me a flat-footed stance at rest. Great bike, though. Maybe this summer, when my Wife and I start our island adventures on 2 wheels, we can swing by and go for a ride together? There’s been a bug going around on Luzon, too. My Wife and I are just about completely over it, now. Great idea on the boat playground, James! 👍

KTM sells a lowering seat from the factory and the dealer should have known and told you that. It is what most Filipinos put on them. Also the forks are adjustable to bring it down as well as the rear shock. Unreal how the dealers are not knowledgeable of the products they are selling. We would be happy to see you and do a ride! Thanks on the boat project.

my friend built a massive concrete sailboat many years ago he still has it dry docked in the yard. he never rigged it up but he drove it up and down the inner coastal a bunch of times. theres several flaws with a concrete boat. 1st there super heavy and need a very long anchor line and anything anchors in that circle gets wiped out. 2nd if it ever rolls over everyone in it drowns it goes down like a rock and will pull you down with it. on the flipside it will last near forever. use sand from the beach its cheap and because of the salt its lighter.

A concrete boat is no less safe than a steel boat and it's lighter. Last I checked Navy ships and civilian ships are made of steel. I owned a 43' Ferro-cement sail boat and it's roll over/righting numbers were same as any other sailboat. It's all about displacement and ballast. What's heavier and top heavy than an aircraft carrier? Although my cement boat was a tank it sailed beautifully and motored exceptionally well with an old 84hp Perkins diesel. If built properly they will last forever. There is an old ferro-cement barge from WWII in Cape May at the the mouth of Delaware Bay. At least it was 10 years back when I last sailed through.

@@michaelpettit9706 yup ferrow concrete, was used to make the mulberry harbours, for the D day landings, they were Made in England and towed across the English channel. Then , water was àllowed in to sink on the sandy bottom. Some weighed several thousands of tons, but as you say, it's all about displacement! Many still exist today in places!

To educate you I have never worked for anyone in my entire adult life. I have always been a business owner and started on my own from scratch. Next it is my money to spend not yours and sure don't remember ever seeing you sweating and busting your ass next to me to earn it. Later you will be watching and cussing when you see how it is getting rented and for how much and inside you will be jealous but in no way would you dare say you was wrong. FYI , I draw no pension or Social Security of any type. I self pensioned and was able to retire at 42 years old. Retired owning retail businesses but invested and still making money each and ever month while my portfolio goes beyond your imagination.

And my last boat I just dumped it because I moved to the Philippines. Lost $18k, but then again not really because I lived on it for 5yrs saving about $1k a month on renting an apartment.
