Concrete Bonsai Pot DIY - Start to Finish

Hi everyone, today we're making a Bonsai pot using a simple profile mold made from PCV. I'm using cement and sand and reinforcing with wire.
This is my first attempt using this particular method so I thought I'd show you the whole process from start to finish.

Don’t be so hard on yourself your pot is absolutely beautiful, being a first attempt 😊It will get better and more organized (ask me how I know😂) I made six small pots and although the last one looks a lot better, i love my first one. It’s on my coffee table dressed with a few succulents. Have faith in yourself and enjoy the process. That’s the most important thing

Looks great. The rougher finish on the outside will allow moss to cling better as the pot ages. Thanks for the video.

Te quedo muy bien, para mejorarlo tienes dos opciones, cuando comienza a secar el cemento puedes pasar una esponja húmeda y cuando está acabado una lijadora. En España tenemos un cemento que se llama mallorquín que mezclado con arena queda de color beig. Creo que probaré de hacer una. Otra de las cosas que pondré será una fibra que se usa para mezclar con el cemento y si la maceta no es muy grande, creo que es mejor que el alambre. Gracias.

thank you so much for sharing this! do you think you would do a dryer/stiffer mix for the main filler layers/portion of the pot next time and then do that thinner mix for the finish?
