So you took off the forms and they were perfect? No polishing, no slurry, no sealing? Don't get me wrong, they look great, but I feel like you left out some significant steps. Or will that be covered in a future video?

Well in our country, it is standard to use concrete in building counter tops. And I'm telling you that it isn't as wasteful and complicated such as this.

Hi, what did you use as a base for the second tier counter (bar top). Was it supported by some type of bracket?

Talk about over engineering jobs.. We did this far cheaper with using ply instead of cement boards with a pvc membrane sheet ontop of the ply.. Also instead of plastic props to lift the mesh.. You can just use one paving slab broken into chunks with a mallet and use each chunk under the mesh to lift it..

watch out for how long you vibrate a concrete mix or you will separate the mix and water getting uneven quality.

Wow that’s a super expensive way to go. I just made mine using concrete formply, poured each section which I could then hone to create texture and expose the aggregate all in black. Cost $60 per bench.

I was expecting you to polish and acid stain the countertops. You'd get a look that more spectacular than marble.

That looks AMAZING!!!! I cannot tell you how much I appreciate you and your team taking the time to share the journey with us. I just have one note I would’ve done different on the concrete counters. IF you ever need to replace the sink, it won’t be fun. You used a drop in sink, but it looks like you poured the concrete over the entire lip sandwiching the sink between the concrete counters and the concrete underlayment, basically making it appear as if it is an under mount sink. I would’ve poured the counters first, then dropped in the sink.

I can't thank you enough for how informative you make your video's I've been searching forever on this subject for an outdoor seating area around our fire pit, and happened to come across your video. Never have I ever seen such attention to detail. you answered all my questions and even showed the names of the products you used.
