In general talaga, "Open-Planning" is always the best way to layout small spaces. Avoid solid partition that can block the natural lighting coming from the windows espcially if nasa isang side lang ito. But if you really like to have partitions, use translucent materials such as frosted glass, or acrylic, kahit nga polycarbonate sheets combined with decorative frames. Pwede din gumamit ng open shelves as partition for more storage space and functionality, basta hindi nito i block ang natural lighting ng space mo. Then use lighter shade ng paint para mas maaliwalas tingnan. Only use darker shade as accent. Mirrors also do the trick of making your small spaces look bigger.

Ms Elle, i May add 😅 too much use of wall paper especially sa kitchen is an eyesore. Some people use it as backsplash, countertop, kitchen cabinet and ung iba pti sa hagdan. Npapansin ko kasi lately trend sya today kasi it’s cheaper. But it looks cheap tlga and the quality will not gonna last. Instead of buying cheap wallpapers, save up for tiles nlng db. 😅

Ang dami kong natutunan. I was one of those who bought my furniture na “isang bagsakan” when I moved to my condo. Eventually, I got rid of them one by one and bought the furniture that I like which gave a better look and style to the condo. Ms Elle common reasons ng mga nakausap ko din na naka condo where they preferred bedroom near balcony (or sa maliwanag) is simply because ayaw nilang daanan muna ang bedroom incase may visitor. I agree. There are also some visitors na ang punta is not overnight, and baka need lng sa sala, not bedroom.

Guilty agad sa #1 HAHAHAHA 1 week before the wedding napressure ako bumili ng furniture, bumili agad sofa, dining set, tv rack. Ending di ko na gusto yung sofa ngayon tapos sira na yung dining set, 1 taon lang tinagal hahaha hinihintay ko na lang masira din sofa para mapalitan haha at dark brown nga sila 😂

Pero masagwa nman na pagpasok ng visitor mo dadaanan un bed bago makapunta sa living room..

yung bed ko near window talaga kasi ayoko ng aircon ayoko din ng nagtuturn on ng electric fan. natural ventilation lang yung gusto ko ever since pinanganak ako. kahit gaano pa kainit yung panahon, basta open ang window, keribambam. Nakakainis lang yung mga window na sliding kasi half lang ng ventilation ability ng window yung nauutilize. negative air pressure yarn? 🤣 keeps the hot air inside the room, ekis ekis.
