This truck was the main event of the day back in June 2019. Western State Garbage Trucks gave us a call about this truck running so we all went over to check it out. And boy, we were not disappointed.

Great video! Didn’t know Waste Management was still running these AFEs. I’ve always loved these trucks, especially paired with the Condor. Has a great sound to it as well!

Thanks! I wish this was still around, but it was scrapped shortly after filming this day after it had a major mechanical failure. Glad you enjoyed it.

this is an excellent sounding truck, and it seems she still runs great! i wonder if it allows the arm to be extended/retracted in any position above down, he seemed to drag the cans when it would be more efficient to continue going up (like at 6:00 and 8:42). I wonder why mcneilus discontinued these, they seem to be very smooth and efficient. nice colors btw

This truck has since been scrapped but it was the last spare anyone wanted so with that being said no one knew really how to operate it. He was just trying to pick em up and get on with it.

Thanks Andy! Glad you liked the video! I wish these were still around but they probably got discontinued when McNeilus moved towards promoting the newer AutoReach at the time.

Great video! I think this is one we've all been waiting for ha ha! Love the AFE paired with the condor, also wish they didn't discontinue it. I personally like it better than the AutoReach. Excellent work!
