You cant peal the plug that way. Only crumble kakes can be prepared in that manner. The "blend" in a plug like condor has to be smoked together otherwise you only smoking maybe 15% of the mixture. Its kind of like smoking just the wrapper of a cigar.

Might be better to slice down the front rather than take a strip. If its made from different leaves you won't get the full flavour range by peeling a strip from the top. 👍

I absolutely love Condor !! I think I would love the plug even more. Sadly there is no Condor tobacco anywhere in EU ! 🤝👍

Condor ready rubbed and plug are both available here in Ireland. Just to let you know. It’s expensive though, around €16-€19 for 25g depending on the store you buy it from. I hope this helps.

@@darragh2511 Oh yes I know. I even know the name of one store that has it. They also have another very expensive plug. Yachtsman plug. Thank you! You are right I always talk about mainland EU and forget to mention that.👍👍

Yes, tobacco in Ireland is quite pricy. Among more expensive EU countries regarding that. I always buy some when I visit. I was lucky and bought quite a lot of Ready Rubbed version in Spain 🇪🇸 (5 EUR/50g) 😉. Cheers, Janez

Still haven't had a plug but I'm shopping a few. Doubt I can find that one here but will check for similar. It does sound interesting. I think the plugs and flakes would have a bit more richness than the ready rub, the impression I'd get. At least until i really get to try them.

Genuinely one of the nicest tobaccos, and a world away from regular Condor, IMHO. A completely different animal altogether. Been meaning to get an Irish buddy to get me some more.

@@thematchbox55 not bad thanks mate, been off the tube for a while but starting to catch up with a few videos. Yeh, shame about the price alright...costs as much for 25g as anything else is for 50g! I've never found out why.... Such good stuff though.

Shame can't get nuff like that one in Bristol, no tobacconists shops exist here, maybe in Wales can still get plug or pigtail or nice burley or Cavendish, a block is always best!
