Video Summary:
The conductive system of the heart includes interatrial and internodal pathways, AV node, the bundle of His, right and left bundle branch, and Purkinje fibers. Impulses are delayed at the AV node due to very slow conduction here. This allows atria to empty their blood into the ventricle before the ventricles contract. Purkinje fibers transmit impulses so rapidly that once the impulse enters the Purkinje system, it spreads almost immediately to the entire ventricular muscle mass.

Thx for this video what i wanna point out is that the interatrial bundle isn't the only way of conducting impulse to left atrium i mean there's no obstruction cuz interatrial septum is muscular so it can spread through the cardiac myocyte but this bundle is " fast way " .

2:03 Actually *av bundle* is the only site which allows passing of impulse from atria to ventricle not *AV node* Source - *Guyton* Guyton states - Furthermore, it should be recalled that everywhere, except at the A-­V bundle, the atrial muscle is separated from the ventricular muscle by a continuous fibrous barrier, a portion of which is shown in Figure 10-­3. This barrier normally acts as an insulator to prevent passage of the cardiac impulse between atrial and ventricular muscle through any other route besides forward conduction through the A-­V bundle.
