The Jordan Harbinger Show

3 жыл бұрын

Some episodes of The Jordan Harbinger Show are two-parters because we’ve got so much wisdom to impart that it would be unfair to hold any of it back from you, our loyal listeners. And then other episodes, like this one, just go off the rails from the time we hit the “record” button and, like any other rampaging train wreck, they’re impossible to stop. You’ve just got to white-knuckle your way on this wild ride to the very end.
We don’t want to spoil too much here, but let’s just say the stories our guest, former Italian mafia enforcer and When the Bullet Hits the Bone author Anthony S. Luciano Raimondi shares in this episode cover the spectrum from securities fraud to Pope assassination. Pretty normal stuff, really, depending on what you do for a living.
✍️ Full show notes and worksheets for this episode: jordanharbinger.com/425 & jordanharbinger.com/426
🔨 What was the Black Hand, and how did it differ from what we think of today as the Mafia?
🔨 The many creative ways mobsters have gotten rid of bodies over the years.
🔨 How Anthony’s father taught him to deal with a bully in Catholic school without getting smacked around by the nuns - or going to jail.
🔨 What it was like for Anthony to have an Uncle Lucky Luciano to hang out with as a kid.
🔨 Why sometimes you’ve just got to kill a Pope when your grandfather tells you to.
🔨 The joke Anthony told to distract the bodyguard of an African drug lord he was sent to dispose of in Nigeria.
🔨 How young Anthony came to the startling discovery that his father wasn’t a longshoreman, but an assassin in the mob.
🔨 Why Anthony likes animals a lot more than he likes people.
🔨 What happened to people in Anthony’s organization who unwisely brought attention to their part in the infamous Lufthansa heist by overspending.
🔨 The code by which Anthony lived, the lines even he would never cross in his business, and why he left that world behind.
🔨 And much more…

This is one of Raimondi stories: One night in California, I was ordered to hit this young woman at her home. I quietly walked up the gate and promptly rang the doorbell. I then jumped over the gate and hid in the bushes. In the meantime there was another young man visiting this residence. I jumped out the bushes, knocked the young man out, and slashed the young ladys throat. Then, I fiercely slit the young mans throat. I then jumped back over the gate and ran 12.1 miles to LAX to make my flight back to NYC. 2-3 days later, I learned that the murder was pinned on this ex professional football player. Poor guy....

Up there, if you engage in what the federal government calls illegal activity, but what we call just a man trying to make a living for his family, selling moonshine liquor, it behooves oneself to keep his wits. Watching a person being interviewed is two parts... one is answering the question but also seeing them as they are asked the question. It gives us a silent dialogue that often tells us things that them speaking doesn't. Body language is 2/3 of what we say to others. The reason Vladtv is soooooo successful with millions of subs is because he has mastered this interviewing technique by focusing on seeing them throughout the entirety of the conversation. Less of you being seen and more of them will greatly increase the likelihood people will return to your channel. After a couple of videos, we know who you are. Believe it or not, one of the things they teach in journalism is that the subject/person is the only thing that matters. People need to remember them in order for you to be believed.
