Mathew 3:13 13 Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to be baptized by John. 14 But John tried to deter him, saying, “I need to be baptized by you, and do you come to me?” 15 Jesus replied, “Let it be so now; it is proper for us to do this to fulfill all righteousness.” Then John consented. As you see John knew that he need to be baptised, but JESUS came as a servant as OBEDIANCE TO HIS FATHER , not to claim his equality to God on earth (Philippians 2:6) but to serve his father . His claim to be the very example of man , an example to follow and do when someone believe In him . Every man believe in him shall be baptized in the water and Jesus baptizes the believer in fire and Holy Spirit .

His baptism was not about cleansing Jesus from sin, because He had no sin. It was a public proclamation of who He was before all the people, especially those in The Spirit, and for the ears of the religious ministers and chunterers...... the event that had been prophesied had truly begun and there was nothing they could do or say to stop God's Word entering the hearts, souls and minds of men, as has been proved.

@Marco-cz7nc your semantics are endless. "Father" in the Jewish understanding means the creator/ God. So when Jesus says I'm going to my to father and your father.. to my God and your God" he was clearly distinguishing between himself and God. He was clearly pointing out the fact that we all have the same creator/ God.

we are born with the ability to sin. a baby is not a sinner for exemple. sin comes from the mind: lust, hatred , jalousy ext... when you have thoughts of lust toward a woman you sin, when you have thoughts of hatred toward someone you sin ext.... a baby cannot sin since he cannot think yet. the flesh is the result of sin entering into the world , that's the reason why we cannot see God and live since sin entered into the world God is entirely holy and pure, we are sinners .

if you read genesis at the begginning God was directly with adam and eve on earth with them. Then after adam and eve eat the fruit and sin entered into the world they got separated from God. flesh is one of the result of sin entering into the world and of our nature being changed. because of this we have the ability to lust, hate ext... God cannot hate or lust for exemple he is entirely holy.

​@@Jesus-Yeshua-saves You are totally wrong. Sin did not enter into the world through Adam and Eve. Sin entered into the world through the devil or Satan. Because God created Adam with the ability or potential to do sin. So sin is nothing new to God compared to the whole universe that God has created. God said if you do sin again and again, then ask for forgiveness with sincere repentance repeatedly untill you die. You are just like a little grain of sand or even more smaller than that compared to the whole universe. So how much sin will you do in your entire life. I would say nothing compared to the whole universe. It is nothing to God. So do not make it look like so big. God said that if your sins touches from earth to heaven, it is nothing compared to the God's forgiveness. So only thing you have to do is to ask for forgiveness with sincere repentance to God for your sins.

If you go back to the book of Genesis in Genesis 1:28, You will find that the creator according to the bible had already said Go forth and multiply. So humanity was going to have children before the issue of sin arose. So they are going to have children. Then come the issue of sin. It claims Adam and Eve committed a sin. They both ate of the apple. And so because they did that they are going to die. But the chapter 2 of Genesis verse 23 claims that God says now the man knows between good and bad, and before he eats from the tree of life and live forever, take him away. What does that mean? Why is God worried that this dodgy human being might go to the tree of life, eat from it and live forever. Logically speaking if he was not going to eat from the tree, he was going to die anyway. And if he was going to die anyway, the very notion of original sin doesn’t arise. God says now the man knows between good and bad, the question therefore should arise prior to them eating of the fruit, did they know the difference between good and bad? They didn’t. Did they? No chance. So something according to the bible when they ate of the fruit made them realize it was wrong. So prior to that, was it just a command of the creator that they were supposed to obey without knowing the consequences. Because they didn't know the difference between good and bad. So it was merely the creator telling them do not approach that tree. But they did. But if they didn’t have foreknowledge, by definition they were going to do it. So now how do you address that. Because it was a question of sin to be applied you needed the information to establish what sin was. So prior to him doing good and bad, it was merely a command and he was aware about it. Because Adam was a created entity and by definition because he was a limited entity, he can’t have all the knowledge that the creator have. Adam and Eve are stopped from eating from the tree of life. So it is very explicit that they were not destined to live forever according to the God's plan. So you can not say that sin has entered into the world through them and hence every human being is sinful. Because it was God's plan to send them into the world.

The reason why Christians or Jews do not accept Islam no disrespect to you as a human being because we are all the same.
