I was somewhat taken aback that the type of internet connection used in the example was aDSL. Is it not more likely that even and especially in a SOHO environment that the type of internet connection that we will encounter would be DOCSIS? And in an enterprise environment it might even be fiber.

good video, can you explain the technical reason of the following: Whenever I can't get access to the internet i.e. external websites, email access etc..I usually reboot my reouter and it works. How does this technically resolve the issue? Does the router issue out another DHCP ip address for my connected devices? Thanks

Most of the time the router is not to blame and the reboot is coincidental. Often the time delay is what actually solves the problem. Other times it is because your web browser has cached bad connection data and the reboot clears that out. Less frequently, the configuration details of your router/network could have changed and the DHCP refresh is what solves the problem, but that is far less common than the other reasons.
